It wasnt just them, it is IMSA no rules racing weekend at COTA. Corvette #3 starts P4 +0.255 sec off pole so I think the BoP is OK.

The track limits today were horrible, I saw it in person and it was every turn, 4 wheels off...

Yes, because than big accidents happen that would normally be minor (or not happen at all) and the track gets a bad rep. Watkins Glen is a good example of this.

Last I checked, this track is already disliked by people just for being a Tilke design so I don't see how that would suddenly add bad rep.
