Yeah it was a slow start to the season for Newcastle but are now starting to look like a Premier League team in the Championship.

It's just a shame that they looked like a League One team in the Premier League.

Aleksander Seferin appointed new UEFA President, the 48-year-old was the head of the Slovenian FA.

Brugge v Leicester is on BT Showcase (the free BT Sport channel on Freeview) now (kick off 7.45pm)...

In other news, the next Old Firm (Celtic v Rangers) game is to be held on Hogmanay (New Year's Eve)... what could possibly go wrong!! I think I may give George Square (in the centre of Glasgow) a swerve that night... in fact, it may be wise to avoid Glasgow altogether that night!

It's at midday too with the pubs opening at 10. Just two hours for them all to cram in as much boozing as possible, with a New Year's Eve party to follow.

Rangers vs Celtic, at midday, on a Scottish New Year's Eve? Someone at the Scottish police must have a bet on for the number of arrests they can make or something.

It will be absolute carnage. I think the police are thinking that it will be carnage anyway, so might as well have one day of carnage instead of two... also, maybe the early start will ensure that many of the most problematic idiots will either be out for the count by the evening, or in jail already.

Meanwhile, Leicester are 1-0 up already after narrowly avoiding going a goal down... good start to the game!

So here are the the games for the weekend, posting this now because there is a Friday night Football tomorrow night, and its a pretty big one!

Friday Night
Chelsea v Liverpool (8pm Sky)

Saturday
Everton v Middlesbrough (5.30 BT)
Hull v Arsenal
Leicester v Burnley
Man City v Bournemouth
West Brom v West Ham

Sunday
Watford v Man United (12pm BT)
Crystal Palace v Stoke (2.15 Sky)
Southampton v Swansea (2.15)
Tottenham v Sunderland (4.30 Sky)

No early game on Saturday, probably because of the Friday game.

It's almost like United didn't buy one of the league's most promising holding midfielders last summer.

That's why Mourinho is the perfect manager for United. Because he is also someone who would rather brute force an end result than spend some time on the training field.

Give Sneiderlin to Poch, Klopp or Pep and I believe they'd be more than happy to develop him into the team.

Or back to us. Schneiderlin wouldn't go too badly yet we've got Hojbjerg.

Rashford's just equalized, 1-1, But still not doing well...

And its 2-1 Watford....

No point arguing with the lino in the 93rd minute, Wayne. You were crap for the preceding 92 minutes.

A comprehensive win for Watford and thoroughly deserved too.

Non-League heads starting to roll - League can't be far behind (and neither Mark Hughes nor Paul Trollope will be looking at the tables with confidence and job security at the moment)...

Brabin is already behind Guisley's Mark Bower who was dismissed a fortnight ago.

My money is on Hughes. Three times already this season they have conceded four goals. Cardiff's Trollope and Coventry's Mowbray can't be far from the axe either. Coventry are bottom of League One.

Hate how all other United fans are using Rooney as a scapegoat, yes he was crap but so was the other 10!

And Swansea lost too :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

Celtic draw 2-2 with ICT. Inverness keeper was outstanding, frustrating result but still top with game in hand.

Can't win em all unfortunately. :(
