The Facebook NASCAR community is the most hypocritical fan base I've ever seen. Complains when a Cup driver wins, a regular finally wins, "Oh I don't like him."

For 🤬 sake, SHUT UP! :ouch:

On a happier note, YEAH, ERIK! If this guy doesn't sin the Championship, I'm going to be very disappointed.

That community is one of the worst motorsport communities i have ever seen.

Bubba said this during his interview with MRN: "I don't know, we've got some good tracks coming up for me, but our cars just aren't good right now. We've gotta start getting better stuff from home, because this is like 6 or 7 races in a row where we've been junk. I'll probably get my hand slapped, but I don't care the way we're running right now."

Just got home from Joliet. Race wasn't very exciting until Busch spun out, most of the crowd that was there stood and cheered when he did.

Thought Larson would pull off the win, but that didn't happen.

All in all a fun day, plus I got to see Richard Petty and get his autograph, and got my picture taken with him. Really great guy. 👍

NBCSN is going to show highlights of NASCAR K&N Pro Series West at Utah Motorsports Campus (formerly Miller Motorsports Park). That's a tough road course. This event is supposed to be a doubleheader. It should be an interesting watch if you want to catch some NASCAR action on TV right about now.

Maybe its time to put Gray Gauulding in a Roush car full time and let Wallace go

:odd:

Wallace isn't the issue. Roush is. I don't know much about their Xfinity program, but there Cup program has been dead ever since Kenseth left. I saw a highlight from 2012 where Biffle passed Johnson at Texas- I think he ended up winning that race, too. Now, all we ever see out of Roush is cars finishing laps down, or the infamous "Tri-Wreckta".

They've made improvments since 2015, but they're still incredibly lackluster. Bubba's had success with KBM in the trucks, and he's had some decent finishes in the car this year. Sure, he's no Erik Jones or Chase Elliott, but he's still doing better than a hell of a lot of other guys.

Roush's program alltogether is treading water, and if they don't make gains soon, they'll be sunk in a matter of the next few years.

Regardless, the SS was a failure in America. Didn't GM announce that they were going to stop production already?

GM only expected to sell 2,000-3,000 a year and it's done that, it was mostly brought over to use in NASCAR. They also are stopping production because GM Australia is stopping production of Australian models. The next Commodore is expected to be a re-badged Buick.

Wait, did someone actually, unironically mention Gray Gaulding?

I don't see why any NASCAR owner should consider that runt until he wins a race without purposefully taking someone else out...
