IIRC, Kahne's rookie year he didn't win, finishing 2nd...5 times? It may be too soon to call, but that could happen.
Looked it up out of curiosity, and found that Kahne had 13 top five finishes (with 14 top tens) in 36 starts, four poles, and 692 laps led in his rookie season. He went backwards the next year, with only five top fives, but did get his first victory. The next season, his third, he won six races. He has ten wins in the 9.75 seasons since then. He has definitely had a very odd career progression.

Indeed he has.

The hell was up with Brad? He takes off his shades and it looks like he has his eyes closed for the entire interview? Allergies from hell? Burned eyes? Lost a fight?

Just got home from Chicagoland Speedway. Pretty good race, 78 had the car to beat almost from the first laps. Harvick looked very strong as well in the beginning but had the pit road mishap and never really recovered.

All in all a fun weekend.

Brad Keselowski needs to just shut the **** up none of that made sense/STOP DEFENDING A TERRIBLE SERIES ORGANISER. We all know its broken across EVERY motorsport to have a "post race" inspection, STOP DEFENDING IT.

How is it broken to have post-race inspection?

It's more with the way NASCAR does it as they seemingly don't take things that can happen during the race into account. For instance something getting knocked .01 degrees out of place.
