I read about that earlier today myself. Ridiculous, indeed. I could have sworn NASCAR had a Drive for Diversity program...

Yes, in fact they have one for pit crews as well.
I guess it doesn't count though since it only attracts hispanics and females.

Here's a bold idea for people that complain about diversity in certain sports, maybe black people just don't care about baseball, hockey or racing.💡

I would honestly start laughing if he even attempted to sue the NHRA on grounds of diversity. That would be one of the dumbest lawsuits of all time if he even tried.

Minorities are only winning on a regular basis, we want only minorities winning!!!!

“Motorsports remain the most racially segregated sport in the United States,”

Has this jackass even seen series like IMSA or PWC? Has he even heard of Darrell Wallace Jr?

I mean it's not like a black 3 time WDC doesn't reside most of his off time here in the U.S. aside from the GP held here...yeah he is a jackass I agree with you. And that's before we get into domestic stuff, oh and then there is James Stewart but let's not count him.

Or Daniel Suarez even if we want to stretch it out beyond African-Americans.

Compared to some of the other cartoon schemes lately it's not bad. I'm confused as to why there are a bunch of pop singers tagged in the tweet though.

If I were a team owner I might as well put some nitrous oxide in the car. I mean, no problem with that by NASCAR's standards, am I correct?

They got pretty upset at Michael Waltrip for whatever he was running in Toyota's first year at Daytona.

I don't see a legitimate reason NASCAR should penalize Truex for failing a post race inspection for the left rear being a fraction of a human hair off on account of Harvick playing bumber cars on that side for no good reason down the backstretch.

Let's be real, had they punished him and the first opinion someone saw was against punishment, most people here would be against the punishment

Depends on how quick they catch on so I bet they'd find it really quick. Regarding other series, I know that NHRA Pro Stock teams used to use it all the time, and most of them never got caught unless it was either stupidly obvious that they were using it or enough teams complained that a team was using it.

"Jet Fuel" is what they said, which is silly because I'm pretty sure no car like that is compatible with the sort of fuel you pit in for instance, a F/A-18 Super Hornet.
