I don't see a legitimate reason NASCAR should penalize Truex for failing a post race inspection for the left rear being a fraction of a human hair off on account of Harvick playing bumber cars on that side for no good reason down the backstretch.

For no good reason :odd:, are you kidding me? :boggled: He had a perfectly good reason....he's Kevin :censored:ing Harvick!!!

Bringing us back to on-track actions, I'm watching a re-air of qualifying, and with as much arguing over post-race inspections after last race, it seems that pre-qualifying inspections are causing more issues. At least five cars going through inspection when qualifying began, and reported that every car made at least one pass at it.

Round 1 Result: 40 cars posted a lap, #7 Regan Smith was the last car through and finally set a time with 4-5 minutes left. A few drivers owe Clint Bowyer a favor as he spun on track with 11:38 to go, freezing the qualifying clock while inspections kept going, Dillon passed and made it out as session resumed, Harvick was a couple minutes later.

Two of the SHR cars have been winning consistently, with one of them winning a championship. Even Tony, who's been running 20th for the last three years has a win this year.

It isn't the car, for sure. The crew has to be at least decent. The only other thing, is the driver itself.

Erik, why?!?!? I can understand wanting to win, but hell, let the field space out again, and then make some moves. At least settle for a top five and get some points..

Dillon, also involved, so it wasn't a total loss.
