As horrific as that restart was, I enjoyed seeing Daniel win it. He's certinaly come a long way since Daytona. As much as I would have liked to see Erik win it, Suarez was just as deserving.

Don't worry, guys, maybe next season NASCAR will make another revolutionary change to enhance the Cha$e. Something like calling a caution near the end of the season finale and flagging all cars off the track except for the championship four, who would then engage in a 2-lap shootout all by themselves. That'll make the battle as fair as possible, right?

Oh it's groundbreaking alright. Groundbreaking to be thrown into the grave it already deserves.

SPEED had Pass Time, which was a great show IMO. Now we have this incredibly dumbed down ish? Oh god, why?

I never cared for "Pass Time." That's even when SPEED Channel had that "Launch Time" show to determine what new show should be on the channel.


I am damned proud for Daniel Suarez. I probably shouldn't use that language, but I am certainly glad for D. Suarez to win himself a championship in one of NASCAR's top 3 Touring Series. I always knew this guy was going to be a star in the States. I also always thought he could one day be a champion. I didn't see the race at all, but my goodness... cheers to Daniel Suarez.

And for that angry tweet telling D. Suarez to go back to Mexico, that clown should shut it. Do not feed the troll.

My feelings about the Chase format aside, I'm really happy for Daniel Suarez. Mad props to him for the outstanding effort he put forth this season. I hope he enjoys every bit of it.

His championship will go down in NASCAR history as being the first foreign-born driver to win a NASCAR championship. Shows how far NASCAR has come over the past 60+ years.

Welp, here we are folks... the final race in NASCAR with Sprint, after today's race. We will no longer be tormented to god awful Sprint ads like these:

Well, here we are. Championship day. 4 drivers will start with a chance to win the championship, but only one will win.

Here is were our four contenders will be starting today;

• Kyle Busch will roll off 9th
• His teammate Carl Edwards will roll off 10th
• Joey Logano will be starting 13th
• Jimmie Johnson will start 14th

The results from Final practice:

• Carl Edwards was the fastest of the chase drivers in 2nd
• Joey Logano was 8th fastest
• Jimmie Johnson was 10th
• Kyle Busch was 14th

The best consecutive 10 lap average during final practice:

• Carl Edwards was 5th
• Jimmie Johnson was 9th
• Kyle Busch was 13th
• Joey Logano was 21st

My prediction for tonight race:
