To be fair to NBC, I'd rather have the commercials now instead of later when the end of the race is the part of the race that matters most (especially with the post race activities).

I think at this point a late caution is the only way anybody other than Edwards wins the championship.

A Larson win would soften the blow of Johnson not winning the title though.

Well, one of the few races in the year I get to watch, and it's the one that matters most in terms of the championship. Obviously pulling for Jimmie Johnson, he's been my favourite driver since I was 3 so watching get that elusive record setting 7th championship would be amazing for me.

Unfortunately for me, he's dragging the tail of the championship 4 all the way back in 10th.

And none of the cautions were legitimate IMO. We could easily have had a caution free race tonight. Hopefully this doesn't give NASCAR any ideas for next year...

As it stands, I'd give the edge to Logano because of the feeling it's going to come down to a short final run. Kyle as well if he's close enough to the front. Long run favors Edwards.

I'm not counting Johnson out but Knaus is going to need a championship winning adjustment.

Yeah even NASCAR wouldn't be dumb enough to create a system which sent out the safety car if nobody crashed for 20 minutes. That would just be silly.

To be fair NASCAR didn't come up with the idea. ARCA has had it for years, they've just never hit the 20 minutes without a caution mark.

The last stop Jimmie did, they adjusted something on the car and it's been looking better than it has all day. Whether or not it's that winning adjustment remains to be seen.

They just made another wedge adjustment and put 4 new tyres on it. Let's see how this one works out.
