Thank you Logic. I haven't raced in more than 6 months. This series seems cool and has very good drivers so i was intrigued to start racing again.

With full rooms on race nights it is good practice to CLEAR CASHE on GT6
To do this go to the main game screen press start / network / clear system cashe option.
Also for a better connection it is a good idea to restart your router before starting the game.
We also encourage people to use wired connections rather than wifi connections to stop lag.
ON RACE NIGHT THERE IS NORMALLY A PRACTICE LOBBY OPEN AROUND 16.30 UK
AT 18.10 UK WE GENERALLY CHECK TO SEE IF THE ROOM IS STABLE -
IF NOT EVERYONE CAN SEE EACH OTHER THEN WE ALL HAVE A FULL RESTART AND NEW ROOM.
PLEASE ENSURE BEFORE YOU JOIN LOBBY
YOU HAVE RESTARTED YOUR ROUTER

Nice to see you back Tony, and after many many months of no racing, 3 laps and you are low 49s at Tsukuba and into 48s after a few more laps.

By best i meant personal bests.
Moreover, since i cannot translate the weather settings properly to actual probability of rain, how likely would you say is it that it rains and if so is there a possibility of heavy and continuous rain or is it mostly limited due to the 20% setting?

i honestly don't know , as far as i remember group in front of us are running 49.0-2 , but since tirewear is big around tsukuba , times will fall around the 25-30minutes , if it rains it'll change few things , but in case you use the setup i posted few pages back , it's good and stable in the rain

You can run it in 10 test races and it may not rain at all, yest another time it will rain a little, or a lot.
The temperature is the thing thing that seems to set the rain off, i cant remember what it is at Tsukuba and also there is no way to see the temperature when you are driving, and also no way of setting the temperature, so its very very random.
The once thing with the settings as they are is that if it does rain, it should stop rather than raining the whole race.

I may use a different paint colour for this race, as its my last race I want to use something more exciting than white
I will test some different colours to see which gives the best lap time
I'll join you for some testing this evening.
Also @GAN SAN , my best lap time was 48.8 if that's any help. But I haven't tested much, so I'm hoping to improve on that.

Well that's not a good sign. My PS3 just shut down again! I thought I had fixed the issue, as it's been working fine all week. And I had it running for 4 or 5 hours straight last weekend! I guess I will attempt the race on Monday and just see what happens, but I'm not feeling confident now
