TV and livestream collapsed then lol.Nothing like the feed dying on the final lap with a super close battle for the lead...
Know or work for the right people; the fans are usually close friends or employees of a company that's partnered. No fan is going to go running to another team anyway so the confidential info isn't an issue. This is what I have been trying to ask since I came on. How is it possible that some fans can go behind the scenes within teams to such an intimate level they are allowed know such confidential information regarding things like the mechanical set up of cars.
Slightly, not too bad though.Missed the race, did they drive like a bunch of idiots with no regards to the track limits like last year or did IMSA enforce the limits?
I just start asking questions and most people are more than happy to talk to you. At an IMSA event all fans have that access as long as you go down to the paddock. No extra money needed, no special credentials needed. This is what I have been trying to ask since I came on. Totally forgot about that. I can't knock it though cus I watch college football and atleast that makes sense to put that in priority over the race, unlike women's gymnastics or bowling or some stupid **** like that they've done in the past. But why not broadcast the tape delay on FS1 today at a normal time like they usually do. 2am?...not great exposure.Race was on FS2 live because as we all in the US know, college football trumps pretty much everything but the NFL at this time of year. FS1 had a game (don't remember who was playing) which is why it was FS2.
Gavin was saying the the 4 Vette needs to finish 7th or better to clinch the championship.
I just want NBC to get the contract already...sick and tired of Faux. Not as bad as ESPN/ABC but close.
It's João Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi. Also, apparently I took too many pictures with the grid girls...Looks like someone was busy this weekend collecting goods. Nice!
I can't make out the signatures on the wheel.
I've decided to make a table from my Tony Kanaan wheel from years ago. I just need to find a tempered glass top and I'll have my cockpit side table for racing online.
Shank seemed sad to be letting him go, it's unfortunate they had to part ways, but so is motorsport I guess. Hopefully Pew finds himself in a racer soon.John Pew will not be returning in 2017.
Say what you want about his skills, but I've never heard anything bad about him as a person and he's pretty much the only reason MSR has been able to be competitive with little to no sponsorship. I wish him the best of luck on his next adventure.
Likely heading home to Las Vegas. The next race is back out east at Road Atlanta next weekend.I saw a transport named Dream Racing Motorsport during rush hour this morning, nice truck really. Are they running in California next?

I really hope they use the engine from the aborted LMP-1 effort, but even if they don't, it's still nice to see that they haven't given up on top-tier prototype racing. I hope they do well, and if Derani is still on the roster, that team will be an absolute force to be reckoned with.
Derani plus the new 30 crew would be an epic lineup but I have a feeling Brown might be back
So the ESM next year will be a Factory Nissan-DPi?
