I have never been a fan of their cars, but certainly a big fan of their support of motorsports. I have to admit though, they are at risk of becoming a laughing stock if this continues

Assuming they more or less haven't already been? They choose to keep running a unreliable engine last year despite testing one that was by far more reliable AND faster.

Mazda Japan/North America unable to understand one another though. IIRC, last year the guys at Speedsource desperately wanted to go to the AER engine but Mazda Japan refused.

Awesome. Gonna miss them in Prototype, but that makes for a excellent entry in GTD. I don't suppose they'll be going for a Ganassi-esque sendoff come the 2017 Rolex 24.

This is what I have been trying to ask since I came on. How is it possible that some fans can go behind the scenes within teams to such an intimate level they are allowed know such confidential information regarding things like the mechanical set up of cars.

The MSR Ligier loses a lap because of the lack of efficiency in American marshaling, the caution is out. Get off your arse and walk out and move it. Don't wait 5 minutes for a pickup truck to go out, no wonder caution periods take so long.
