You'll see that the next manager gets a blank check to buy new players.

Are Arsenal gonna suffer from fergie syndrome then? Wenger deserves his due though.

At least we can stop worrying about Clyde for a few months.
He doesn’t have to be constantly tired for much longer.

So far this season, three managers have announced they will leave their clubs at the end of the season.

Marcus Bignot (Chester City) announced his departure on April 1st.
Chester City sacked Marcus Bignot on April 11th.

Mick McCarthy (Ipswich Town) announced his departure on March 29th.
Mick McCarthy left Ipswich Town on April 11th.

So... any bets on Wenger leaving before May 3rd?

He still has the Europa League to deal with. If they lose that, then there is more of a possibility.

Wonder if he wins the Europa league that arsenal will pull a Man Utd with LVG and sack him as he picks up the trophy.

Kinda hope the next Arsenal manager isn't more successful than Wenger because I don't (like) Arsenal because their fans are 🤬.

What does this even mean?
Its like what fergie was to utd, then moyes jumped ship from everton to utd and started the rot. Hopefully the same happens to Arsenal and its fans, the worst in the prem.

He meant that you should take a bit more time typing out your posts as they're pretty hard to understand.

Not a massive surprise about Wenger, time is right for him to go, hopefully they will give him the send off he deserves.

Having a laugh with Rodgers. Can do it in Scottish league but that atm Scotland is a one horse race (and he was a former kopite). Other than that nice line up of managers.

I've got a fiver on Jardim, it's just wishful thinking on my part that we'll land a guy who embarrassed some oil tycoons' plaything.

If I was an arsenal fan and I was seeing these odds on next manager with Rodgers as favourite I'd be begging for Arsene to come back.

I would like to see them get a good manager who will make them challenge for the title. My early football memories are of the Man Utd and Arsenal rivalries with players like Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Patrick Vieira. Its saddens me to see the two clubs struggling so badly in recent years in the League.

What even is the Championship though? Two random dickings, a team relegated with a 93rd minute goal, fourth-bottom beats playoff candidate (and automatic promotion candidate back in December) and there was a 5-5 draw between two teams that were four positions away from relegation and the playoffs.

And that's not even a weird week.

Still, poor old Sunderland. They've lost 25 points this season from winning positions, in the last 15 minutes of games. They've been relegated today with two goals conceded in the 88th and 93rd minutes - then had an equaliser ruled out - in a game they were leading...

Sunderland doing what Swindon and Wolves did before them.

How can you not feel bad for them?

They've been in the Premier League for a decade, spending buttons (usually - their record is £14m, in August 2016, but their biggest transfer before that was in 2010!; their entire season spend this year was £1.25m) and surviving with barely any games left, if not the last day. They finally ran out of luck last year, then lost their two main assets (Pickford, Defoe). Their entire 2017-18 squad is worth less in transfer fees than Wolves' three first-choice midfielders.

This season they've been kicked in the teeth repeatedly - they've lost 25 points from winning positions this season, and today was the second time in three games they were leading in the 85th minute and didn't win. It seems like almost every decision this season that could go against them has gone against them - although they do have the joint-fourth most penalties awarded (6), they've conceded more (9), and have the second highest number of sendings-off at 6 (surprisingly, Lee Cattermole is only on one). If they didn't have bad luck, they wouldn't have any luck at all.

The club's owner is so sick of it that he's willing to give it away for free to someone who can finance their debts.
