Man City have gone mental lately, Mendy has now joined, £52 million, to add to Danilo for £28 miilion yesterday, over £300 million spent since Pep took over around a year ago!
I think we,re just getting ready for the chance if we win something next year then its a case of we bought it.
lol Am guessing that will be the rumours already in place if City do win something?
Plus if the case
http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...fer-news/man-city-court-hearing-over-13270894 doesn,t go in City's favour then City could be serving a transfer ban. But just guessing that its a case of cover all bases.
Quote
"Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have all been subjected to transfer bans in the past few years after being found guilty of breaching rules around the signing of international players under the age of 18."
Plus if you look at players out for City its a also a case for the need to spend big to get a defense back in the team?
EDIT:
I understand it is totally mental couldn,t agree more, but a great question to be honest.
Lets look at the top 6 sides in the premiership after losing 2 right backs 2 left backs and a need of a better keeper who possibly can use his hands as well as his feet how much would that cost a top premiership side? Never mind that lets look at Barca or real Madrid if they had to do the same what price would it be? Plus look at some of the top Italian sides how much would it cost them?
Plus City could or should be in for a central defender as well so I guess the spending hasn,t stopped yet, I suppose.
2nd EDIT:

I guess teams in this and age need to spend to stay near the top or will drop? Thats a presumption, but I guess not every transfer will be a given that your going to get the best out of every player you buy. Plenty of examples in every team.
And plus with the headline, Sky sports news are reporting that Man U have spent 129.4 million.
That equates to 329.4. Just a little more spending by Jose compared to Pep? But thats football.
