Chelsea have signed Morata, £58 million rising to £70 million, that's they're transfer record broken.

Chelsea are also in talks with Arsenal over Oxlade-Chamberlain, that came out of nowhere!

Speaking of Chelsea and Arsenal, their friendly will be live on ITV I think sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Virgil Van Dijk. Refusing to play.

We have a game against Brentford where proceeds will go to the Grenfell Tower victims. At least somebody with a sense of dignity will take his place.

Bayern just got smashed 0-4 by the new AC Milan team.

And it's not like Bayern sent out their reserves either.

Chelsea agree to let Matic leave for Man United but demand a 50 million Euro fee.

PSG are preparing a bid of around 35 million Euro for Alexis Sanchez.

Barcelona are rumored to be in talks with Juventus over Paulo Dybala as a replacement for Neymar. Dybala reportedly has a clause in his contract that says he can leave Juventus with minimum fuss and a 110-120 million Euro price tag if he is joining fellow Argentinian Lionel Messi.

Patrick Cutrone is a beast. Another great youth talent Milan have developed.

Dick Van Dijk?

Chelsea beating Arsenal 0-2 and are cruising, Liverpool v Leicester is currently 1-1 in the Asia Trophy final.

Chelsea are adding more money to the Matic fee for United because of missing out on Lukaku.

Bit of a 🤬 move there. At least put it aside for a fundraising match.

Batshauyi makes it 3-0 to Chelsea, Arsenal just don't seem interested, Liverpool 2-1 through a Coutinho screamer.

That was some embarrassing penalties in the United - Real match...

1-1 after full time. United scores 2 penalties and Real only 1. Out of a total 10 kicks... :dunce:

Man City have gone mental lately, Mendy has now joined, £52 million, to add to Danilo for £28 miilion yesterday, over £300 million spent since Pep took over around a year ago!

I think we,re just getting ready for the chance if we win something next year then its a case of we bought it. :) lol Am guessing that will be the rumours already in place if City do win something?

Plus if the case http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...fer-news/man-city-court-hearing-over-13270894 doesn,t go in City's favour then City could be serving a transfer ban. But just guessing that its a case of cover all bases.

Quote
"Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have all been subjected to transfer bans in the past few years after being found guilty of breaching rules around the signing of international players under the age of 18."

Plus if you look at players out for City its a also a case for the need to spend big to get a defense back in the team?

EDIT:
I understand it is totally mental couldn,t agree more, but a great question to be honest.
Lets look at the top 6 sides in the premiership after losing 2 right backs 2 left backs and a need of a better keeper who possibly can use his hands as well as his feet how much would that cost a top premiership side? Never mind that lets look at Barca or real Madrid if they had to do the same what price would it be? Plus look at some of the top Italian sides how much would it cost them?
Plus City could or should be in for a central defender as well so I guess the spending hasn,t stopped yet, I suppose.

2nd EDIT:
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...st-transfer-news-Jose-Mourinho-Premier-League
I guess teams in this and age need to spend to stay near the top or will drop? Thats a presumption, but I guess not every transfer will be a given that your going to get the best out of every player you buy. Plenty of examples in every team.
And plus with the headline, Sky sports news are reporting that Man U have spent 129.4 million.
That equates to 329.4. Just a little more spending by Jose compared to Pep? But thats football.

Everton made a improved £45 million bid for Sigurdsson earlier, which was swiftly rejected by Swansea. Proud of the club for remaining strong but what happens next will be interesting as Gylfi wants the move.

West Ham sign Javier Hernandez for £16 million, could be the bargain of the season that!

Real Madrid apparently offered 180 million to Monaco for Mbappé. And they accepted.

It's getting ridiculous.

Annual spending on defence:

USA £820bn
Cuba £700m
Man City £200m
Bosnia £180m
Congo £135m

Stolen from someone on another forum :D

Chelsea look to be at it now. Guess many teams going to be catching City if they spend whats expected of them? (Already spent £129m guess thats a target of 270 million with the estimated extra 150 mil?)

Juventus sign Bernardeschi from Fiorentia for 40 million Euro. In response, Fiorentina ink Aston Villa forward Jordan Veretout for 7 million Euro.

Monaco have said that they have not accepted any offer from Real or any other club, Mbappe should stay there, he has only had one full season in the first team and he will only get better, there is plenty of time for him to earn big money, stay another season and then the transfer fee will be even bigger, as will his wages.

So the Chinese Super League is in crisis after 13 clubs face expulsion over unpaid wages.

Can anyone else hear the sound of a bubble bursting?!

As soon as this sky deal ends I see the EPL bubble bursting too.

Man United US tour ended with a 1-0 defeat to Barcelona in Washington last night, Neymar with the goal and at times it was Messi Suarez and Neymar vs De Gea, United didn't do that badly though and had some good chances, both clubs named strong teams.

I'm pretty sure this was reported to be blatantly untrue.
