Oh dear lord the TS050 is a stunner! The low downforce front end does look much like the 919, but the side profile of the car in that new livery is just spectacular!

I'm confused, the cars in that video sound different to one another.

Looks like they have been running the chassis with last year's engine in the #6, and this year's engine in the #5 during private testing.

EDIT: Actually, I think that's a TS040 in this year's livery...

That #6 was definitely a TS040. Maybe they were testing both chassis' to see if there are certain elements that worked better on the TS040, and that might get carried over onto the TS050?

Claiming the BOP will be impossible to set because of a difference in ECU http://sportscar365.com/industry/aco-in-disagreement-with-imsa-over-dpi-regulations/ is nonsense. The only logical way to set the initial DPi BOP is to base everything off of the Gibson V8. Imsa will have all of the data in by the Roar '17 and I doubt that they would keep that from the ACO.

The choice will be simple for any Imsa team that want to race in the 24hr Le Mans they will either need to lease a car from one of the four constructors or they can run in DPi as a Pro-Am team with silver driver funding and spec P2 and take their chances on the entry list.

Impressive. Rebellion quick as ever.

"Only good looking part of the Audi is the parts they covered up."

Apologies for double post but Mark Webber is spying on Audi and Toyota - had to post these, few captions here surely :P

He's got plenty of experience in this from his F1 days when Lewis and Alonso and team bosses would analyze his car on the podium. That's why Porsche really hired him :sly:

And yet, he doesn't seem to be making nearly as much of the opportunity as the guy with the red smartphone

I think his life partner doesn't like him bring his work home...so sad. I could see it now, him in the corner of his quiet room analyzing photos on his smart phone, "looks like this wing will flex under load, perhaps a rubber nose on the Toyota as well, hmm?"

Either that or the guy on the Red Smartphone was a plant by Webber, oh the plot thickens.
