The Porsche looks much better than last year. Liking the rounded front end. Despite being an improvement over the test car, that Audi still doesn't look like a real top-class prototype. Something about the proportions of the mid-section and cockpit just don't seem to fit at all. Almost looks like a kit-car. Love the wheels, though.

Looks quite similar. I wonder if the aero changes at all and this is just the version they put out before upgrades. Looks nice, but those huge headlights always irk me

Toyota is red. Always has been. There's no way you will confuse it's red nose with that of the gray Audi or black Porsche. I think their similarities are blown out of proportion. Rebellion will be red too! Who cares, they're all awesome.

I don't see why everyone is complaining about the liveries. I can just pick out the difference in the car styles, and it isn't like the colors haven't been historically linked to the teams. People just nitpicking over nothing like usual.

Audi - Black and Red
Toyota - Black, Red and White
Porsche - Black and White

What's so different?

Apart from the liveries, the silver

Point is, this stupid bitching about the cars colors is idiotic and unnecessary. They look completely different regardless of them using similar colors.

Toyota could have kept the blue, and Porsche could have come up with something better than White and grey. Everyone is moaning about all the F1 cars being grey and black, but as soon as all 3 LMP1 manufacturers do exactly that, there are people saying it's good. WTH?

I've never moaned about a livery ever. Liveries mean next to nothing to me. It's all about performance. It could look like an art car made by a five year old and I'd still cheer for it if it stood a chance at winning something. Every car could look the same I would be okay.

I have been hearing from several people that motors tv uk have dropped wec from their coverage as a cost cutting measure. Does anybody know any more ? I can't see anything about uk tv rights for the upcoming season, this will leave us with having parts of races on eurosport or having to subscribe to wec website.

That's not the problem. The problem is that all the cars in the class look far too similar.
That's what I'm saying. I don't care if they do or not. They look far differently if you know what you're looking at.

2 years ago I would've agreed, when all three teams used white as the primary colour and all had very similar proportions.
Now though just the shape of the cars themselves is enough to differentiate them imo, and while they are using similar colours to one another, the actual designs of the liveries are very different.

I dunno, seeing a grey car followed by a grey car at the other end of a straight is a lot harder to differentiate than a red car and a blue car.

Just saying...

Oh I think that argument is dumb too. Seriously, I put it right up there with the over exadurated complaints about the sounds.

I have seen BT sport mentioned but there are no details other than a picture of a BT sport ad with the WEC logo on it.
