I find it funny reading that those same PC owners complained about the LMP3 (which is way cheaper then their cars). Guess its more people that refuse to admit change. I don't even think the inclusion in IMSA lites will even happen if only this many teams are fielding cars, I think they might be wiped out of IMSA all together.

The current PC car won't be in the new PC next year.

The new PC next year is only LMP3 and the current Elan Lites cars. The reason current PC owners are bitching is because they bought their chassis years ago and have since paid them off tenfold by using them throughout the years. Some teams actually make money on these cars now. They're complaining at having to buy a new chassis in general and spending the money instead of NOT spending the money and keeping their old cars.

Gather cars, open pits for P, open pits for GT, wavearound, gather, and green is usually how it went. If it was under 30min since the last FCY they opened the pits for all classes instead.

Didn't seem too long to me.

Perhaps not have pit laps?

Personally I like what i heard a commentator mention last year....don't remember who or when it was, but it happened lol.

And it was the idea that there is no one "best way" to handle FCY scenarios. IMSA does it their way, which has its pros and cons (takes a long time, but fewer cars get trapped a lap down). Other series do it other ways, which also have pros and cons (no wave around means less FCY, but could mean half the field dropping off the lead lap. You have more time racing under green, but perhaps far more spread out and with far fewer cars in the hunt).

I think for the endurance races it's okay to do the IMSA way because the cars are going strong for so long they could use as much downtime as possible. The other races just do something quick.

Which is most of the schedule since there's only 4 NAEC races.

I agree with that. Too many think one way should work for everything, but that simply isn't true.

I will not be going this year either due to me just having to pay for my entry into the Time Attack at Gridlife.
