Most modern web designs are. Who on earth thought putting the standings under "More" would be a good idea?

Same. Its not at all well thought out or organized. I know the old site was a sesspool of ignorance and on-point stereotypes at work, but it wasn't nearly as nonsensical as this. You get the feeling whoever designed this has no idea how to make a website.

It got WORSE!?!?! How is it still running, nothing that bloated and useless actually works?

I was browsing thru some old jayski articles and I found this...
  • Atlanta, New Hampshire tracks make Super Bowl bet:The "Big Game" just got a lot more interesting for a pair of speedways in the Speedway Motorsports, Inc. family. New Hampshire Motor Speedway's Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath and Atlanta Motor Speedway's President and General Manager Ed Clark have put everything from regional food favorites to premium race tickets on the line for the Feb. 5 title game between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons. The wager
    If the Patriots win ...
" New England Patriots flag to be hung outside Atlanta Motor Speedway office building the next day and during NASCAR race week Feb. 27-March 5
" While wearing a Patriots jersey, Ed Clark will present David McGrath and the July 16 New Hampshire 301 race winner with Georgia Peaches in victory lane
" Four Patriots and New Hampshire Motor Speedway fans will win premium tickets to the March 5 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway ($400 value)
    If the Patriots lose ...
" Atlanta Falcons flag to be hung outside New Hampshire Motor Speedway office building the next day and during NASCAR race week July 10-16
" While wearing a Falcons jersey, David McGrath will present Ed Clark and the March 5 Folds of Honor QuikTrip race winner with New England Lobster in victory lane
" Four Falcons and Atlanta Motor Speedway fans will win premium tickets to the July 16 New Hampshire 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway ($500 value)

If you look closely at the left, you can see a Home Depot 2013 Camry
Oh my G-...for ****s sake. xD

That's great and all, but I don't think he needed to go that in depth to prove Daytona Day is trash.

Also, adding onto the screw-ups, they obviously caught the "Lite" problem after the initial airing as when it aired again later they replaced the actual logo with a generic one.

What's the lite problem?

What's the lite problem?

During the part with the actor playing Keselowski a kid walks up to him with a die-cast featuring the Miller Lite logo. When they ran it again later the logo's were replaced with a generic "LTE" intead (IIRC)

I'm sure the FCC will be handing out fines in the near future.

It's considered alcohol advertising tho. You wouldn't use a child to advertise actual beer. I completely understand it.

Oddly I think the new format will at least be tolerable on the road courses (at least I hope it will be). The real question concerning The Glen is whether or not they'll finally use the boot.

Hey FOX,take notes

Or just get the person behind the "Racing in Slow Motion" videos on Youtube to make a promo. Either one would be miles better than Daytona Day.

He's holding a die-cast though (like many kids would have to be autographed), how is something like that (one of the few things relatable in that awful ad) alarming enough to warrent such regulations? Its not exactly making kids more prone to drink beer (We got peer Pressure for that). Same goes for the censoring of them in racing games (likewise for tobacco brands). I know they are for adults and understand, but it all just comes off like another overreaching effort to "Protect the kids". I have several die-cast with Winston cup on them and they haven't made me want to smoke more.

It's against FCC regulations to have alcohol advertisements aimed at minors and by having a kid holding a car with a beer logo it can certainly be viewed as aiming it at minors.

I agree it's stupid, but it is what it is.

Which is why they are called "Adult Collectables" while the ones you see at department stores have terrible looking generic replacements for alcohol/tobacco sponsors.

Tobacco advertising is prohibited anyways, so we won't be seeing tobacco sponsors on anything for the foreseeable future. Just throwing that out there.
