How does that really differ from last year's monumentally horrible All Star Race? It's probaby the segment anouncements
This has been making the rounds today:

Kirby seems to be the only one reporting it, probably for a reason...
He didn't rule it out.I don't even know who this guy is but I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere and it might have been here too, that Carl was considering running for the senate?
It just makes me hungry.Does anyone else think Caterpillar when they see it?
1. Dodge Forever
2. Honda should already be here to play off Toyota.
3. Hyundai is OK, not spectacular. Just like their cars.
4. Audi and the Audi-in-NASCAR fetish morons can GTFO. Especially since NASCAR will be commercially dead in two years anyway at this rate.
Slick...Nascar will probably bust Audi for using illegal diesel
That's actually the reason why I only go to one race a year. Between the race tickets, hotel/campsites, and travel, it's just too expensive. So here's another reason why attendance at races has been going down, and it's one I don't think most people have thought of: hotel price gouging on race days. Seriously, $500+ a night on Daytona 500 weekend for a decent hotel?
I know NASCAR isn't the only event that spikes hotel prices, but given how tight people have been with their money the last few years, I can understand why they wouldn't want to pay three, four, five times the cost of a ticket just to avoid sleeping at the Bedbug Inn off the turnpike.
