Silly Acura, you’re not an LMP1 car.

The #7 looks better than the #6, both could use something on the side pods though.

Eh. I mean they're not bad, just not that imaginative or unique. Thought it works and it's pretty neat, otherwise I'm preferring the #7 more with it's black shark-fin.

So glad this season is here, especially with people like Rodney Sandstorm and Magnus racing.

I don't think I have heard, but is IMSA renewing with Hindaugh and crowd for full YouTube presentations after the live airing? That's how I watched all of last season...hope that is continuing.

I hope so, cause I like then soooooooo much better than the FOX broadcasts, even with Hindaugh's mistakes from time to time.

That's why I love Hindaugh and his partner (the guy you can almost never understand...and the one who's always wrong, lol), you don't have the politically correct professional commentator; just superfans calling the race. Also, the pit reporters really got sooo much better than a few years back with them.

EDIT: This bodes well!

They're covering intro stuff for the 2018 series, so I'm hoping that means we're set.

I'm more disappointed in there being 7 Mustangs and not 1 Camaro in GS.

(Though ST is surprisingly small)

Equally as surprising/disappointing is that TCR is an Audi Cup class with a lost VW Golf. I know it's the first time out for them, but I somehow expected... more.

With the success of the non- factory M4, in European GT4, as an indicator, the factory car should be pretty good

I don't mind all the Mustangs. Missing Maserati.
For TCR, I was expecting an Alfa(or was it Mini?) in the field. Have many teams sat out this weekend, in preparation for the rest of the season?

An oldie but still a goodie. Night practice from 2014 with Tommy Milner for those that haven't seen this, pretty cool view. The wait is killing me. At least this year it looks like I won't be freezing my ass off at night, as of right now its predicted a low of around 60*F which is odd because its been unusually cold this winter in FL, and in past years its been pretty cold there at night. The rain chances for Sunday keep pushing back further as well 👍

The M8 in proper BMW colours, replete with Puma sponsorship gives me a serious case of the "Hnnnggg!"s. I sure hope the minor BOP changes help the car as it was garbage on the Roar (and I suppose I'll pray for some sandbagging). It's too pretty to be so slow.

Every year I become more and more impressed with the quality (at least in appearance) of the GT3 and GT4 cars. The level of build is superb (admittedly I'd guess the price more than warrants it).

The black covering the rear bumper and halfway up the back looks kinda off to me. Other than that looking forward to seeing the whole thing.
Agree. I think white would look better or if they wanted color 1 car could have a blue bumper and the sister car a red one.
