Children with bone cancer is one reason I don't believe. That's simply awful.

I can't even imagine...

Chris Smalling has been loaned out to Roma for the season and will join Alexis Sanchez in Italy. There are rumors of Matteo Darmian also playing in Italy for the season with interest from Parma. Fernando Llorente has agreed to join Napoli on a free transfer.

Games this weekend.

Saturday
Burnley v Liverpool (5.30 Sky)
Chelsea v Sheffield United
Crystal Palace v Aston Villa
Leicester v Bournemouth
Man City v Brighton
Newcastle v Watford
Southampton v Man United (12.30 BT)
West Ham v Norwich

Sunday
Arsenal v Tottenham (4.30 Sky)
Everton v Wolves (2pm Sky)

Sunday is derby day with not only the North London derby but also the Old Firm derby between Rangers and Celtic as well at 12.30.

There is an international break after this as the Euro qualifiers continue.

Southampton 1-1 Man United, Daniel James with a great strike inside first 10 minutes, Vestergaard with a good header to equalise, Southampton had Danso sent off for two yellows and they spent the last 20 mins with ten men, United lacked the creativity to break them down.

Another disappointing performance and only one point taken from Crystal Palace and Southampton, its going to be a long season!

Full times.

Southampton 1-1 Man United
Chelsea 2-2 Sheffield United
Man City 4-0 Brighton
West Ham 2-0 Norwich
Newcastle 1-1 Watford
Crystal Palace 1-0 Aston Villa
Leicester 3-1 Bournemouth

Great result for Sheffield United, fantastic second half performance from them.

Burnley v Liverpool still to come today.

I've seen bits and pieces of Chelsea FC hosting Sheffield United FC. For those bits and pieces, Chelsea was ahead 2-1. I didn't see the goal in which Sheffield drew even with Chelsea earlier today. Good job by both teams.

Everton 3-2 Wolves.
Two goals from Richarlison and the other from Iwobi for Everton and Saiss and Raul Jimenez for Wolves who also had Willy Boly sent of late on, three goals in the first 12 minutes, great game of Football.

Arsenal 2-2 Tottenham
Fantastic start from Spurs with an Eriksen goal and then Xhaka with a stupid foul giving away a penalty which Kane converted, Arsenal then responded just before half time with a great strike then an Aubameyang goal in the second half to level things up, it was all Arsenal in the second half but it remained 2-2 in another brilliant game with both teams going for it.

Deadline Day part 2 is/was today with the European window closing or has just closed in some places, it was a 5pm deadline in the Championship and English Leagues One and Two plus 5pm deadline in the Bundesliga, its an 11pm deadline in La Liga, Ligue Un and Scottish Premier League.

Mkhitaryan has joined Roma on loan from Arsenal
PSG have signed Keylor Navas from Real Madrid with Areola going to Real as part of the deal.
Javier Hernandez has joined Sevilla from West Ham for £8 million.
Matteo Darmian has joined Parma from Man United for £1.5 million.
Bournemouth's Asmier Begovic joins Qarabag on loan
Brighton's Florian And one joins Galatasaray on loan. (that's not his real surname, it auto corrects)
Rangers looking to sign Liverpool's Ryan Kent for £7 million.
After the fallout from the Bobby Duncan situation at Liverpool Duncan is now close to signing for Fiorentina for £2million, I really hope he doesn't regret this.

Navas deal is a four-year deal with Areola joining Real Madrid on season-long loan.

Mario Icardi has joined PSG on loan.

Forgot to mention the deadline for Serie A, which is 9pm.

Bolton have signed an abundance of players with potentially more to come, they also have a new manager in Keith Hill who was appointed after their 5-0 demolition against Gillingham.

Windows are now closed.

Southampton's Mario Lemina joins Galatasaray on loan, they've had a busy day.

Speaking of busy days Bolton have signed nine players....in one day!

I subscribed to ESPN+ this weekend to watch all the Serie A games and I was not disappointed. Milan sealed a shaky 1-0 home win against Brescia, Juve v. Napoli was crazy (check out the highlights on that one) and then I watched the Derby della Capitale on Sunday between Lazio and Roma where both sides hit the post 5 times in the 1st half.

Milan pulled off a deadline deal yesterday to finally offload Andre Silva. He joins Eintracht Frankfurt on a two year loan while Ante Rebic moves the opposite way and joins Milan on a two year loan as well.

Edit:
I think Juve's 2nd team could win the Serie A:

Lincoln's Danny and Nicky Cowley are in advanced talks with Sheffield Wednesday to become the new management team there. @Famine

The EFL are set to meet and discuss the reinstatement of Bury into the Football League next season in the next month or so.

Anglicised names of famous footballers:

Alfredo di Stefano
Alfred Stephenson

Alessandro del Piero
Alex Peters

Cristiano Ronaldo
Chris Ronald

Roberto Carlos
Robert Charles

The point: Alex Peters is delightfully dull Alessandro del Piero sounds way cooler.

Danny Drinkwater was involved in a nightclub attack last night, but it was his own doing as he was caught chatting up the partner of Scunthorpe's Kgosi Nthle, he was set upon be six men who shouted 'break his legs' during the attack, Drinkwater is currently on loan at Burnley from Chelsea.

Apparently the international break is an excuse to switch up managers...

Out

Southend United - Kevin Bond
Watford - Javi Gracia
Stevenage - Dino Maamria

In
Sheffield Wednesday - Garry Monk (two months after Bruce left...)
Watford - Quique Sanches Flores ()
