I'd watch that every week.

They could up the production quality a little though. Well actually, quite a bit.

Looks like Kurt is getting ready.

Kyle getting ready for the next race?

34 drivers entered, 4 made it out. Alex Labbe, Anthony Alfredo, Ty Majeski and Ruben Garcia Jr. are the guys who made it through the LCQ to the main race.

I really get a kick out of the little "pose" that the Camaro Xfinity car does in the iRacing ad. It's so janky, but also kinda cute, like as if it's out of Pixar's Cars.

Also, I missed the Homestead race, so this is my first time watching. This so far much more entertaining than it has any right to be.

It's also moderately distracting that the pace car model is a ~15 year old Mustang GT.

I've watched about the same amount of virtual racing in the past couple weeks since the virus than I would have in a couple months before it. Even watched the World of Outlaws last night. Never watched WoO before. Thanks to all the different platforms out there especially iracing.

I think the best NASCAR can hope for this year is getting to every track once. There’s no way in hell they’re getting 36 races in.
It honestly depends if they are willing to run without fans. If they are, they can likely do 10 or 15 races to end the year (the playoffs will be axed because it cannot be practically done). If not, then their season could likely end up in the same group as baseball: Canceled (or in this case, abandoned).

Just another instance of real professional drivers not realising / understanding how serious sim racing is to be taken.

It is serious to those who dedicate their time to it. The WRS here at gtplanet was serious to me when I was competing as I spent time on it. Be it virtual or be it real, it doesn't matter in that sense. Obviously it's a game and people have to remember that especially in the sense that this is being used for entertainment. Real racing is also used for the same reason but the difference here should be that real racing is big business and what we are witnessing here (virtual racing) is not for money. Well it started that way before sponsors started showing up. That happened due to the virtual races being televised. Problem with Bubba is that his sponsor was not too happy with Bubba's way of handling his situation. Bubba should've remembered it's a game and laughed it off. And maybe keep the sponsors out of it.

And by the way I love watching all this virtual action, and hey if I'm not driving the car on the track myself it's always going to be virtual anyway.

EDIT SO much content but be sure to watch NBCSports challenge this week, each night at 7PM eastern, like now.

Another Suarez. He is only there for one reason and its the same simple fact that Suarez was given a top ride and never won. It is pretty comical that he lost sponsorship on the virtual racing platform

I don't think it was the fact that he rage-quit that got Bubba in hot water. It was the fact he went and mouthed off on social media afterwards.
Both, really. He had Blue Emu branding all over his stream so it stands to reason that they had put some money into getting things set up on his end, and sponsors definitely don't like it when people waste their money. Going on Twitter and basically mocking them indirectly for being upset about it is more of a shotgun-meets-foot decision after the fact.

Frankly I think it's pretty silly and funny, but corporate types are notoriously incapable of seeing humor in things, despite what the interns manning their social media pages may try to have us believe.

Just watching the race now, it was a joke unsurprisingly. I know they need the big name drivers in the race for TV but they really need some more quality control. Less cars and make sure the guys who actually take it seriously and can manage not to crash every lap are the majority of the field. And keep it to 1 car reset.

And Bowyer needs to retire from iRacing and just stick to commentating.

And Bubba is just Bubba, I don’t think anyone in the industry can be genuinely surprised by things he does anymore.

On the plus side it is good to see a few guys like Kyle Busch and Jimmie are actually putting the effort in to get better every week
