Never seen a second half like that from United, at one point we only had 8% possession and no shots on goal at all in that half after a fairly promising first half.

Embarrassing.

Spurs 5-0 Everton
Forest 2-1 Huddersfield

Everton did put up a good fight...for the first 10 minutes. Then after that it was one way traffic, an own goal from Michael Keane got Spurs rolling before a nice finish from Son made it 2-0 on 17 minutes, Kane got his first of the night on 37 minutes and it was 3-0 at half time, Reguilon scored right after half time before Kane made it 5-0 before the hour mark (!!) and after that it was a cruise for Spurs, Everton were just spineless and it was so easy for Spurs, no shots on target from Everton who stay in 17th just a point above the relegation zone, Spurs stay 7th but only three points off fourth with two games in hand on Man united and West Ham above them.

Forest just edged Huddersfield in the last of the fifth round cup ties, all three goals came in the first half with Surridge and Yates scoring for Forest and Lees scoring for Huddersfield, Forest now have a home tie v Liverpool on the 20th, tricky game for Liverpool considering Forest have knocked out Arsenal and Leicester at home.

A consortium led by US Businessman Todd Boehly and Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss have made a joint bid to buy Chelsea.

A consortium led by US Businessman Todd Boehly and Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss have made a joint bid to buy Chelsea.
The owner of the NFL New York Jets, Woody Johnson was supposedly getting a bid together which should scare Chelsea supporters if you look at the train wreck the Jets have been for several years now.

So there are four Premier League games on tomorrow night, all are re-arranged games from when they were postponed due to Covid in the winter, here are the games.

Leeds v Aston Villa (7.45 Amazon Prime)
Norwich v Chelsea
Southampton v Newcastle
Wolves v Watford

Kick-offs are 7.30pm unless stated, because there are four games on a Thursday it does mean that there are only three games taking place this Saturday with most of the games taking place on Sunday.

Man United have more problems, not just their defending.
At this point, people should try to point out what is not a problem at United. Surely the list will be a lot shorter.

Either way, the blame game continues. Crappy Maguire, the captain, or should I say, the craptain, points fingers to everyone but himself. Now that's a leader! Despite being clearly the worst player on that entire team. Has he even had a positive game this season? If he did, I don't remember.
Funny how any foreign player that has a bad game, will get criticized by the fans and specially the media, and benched, yet english players keep their spot and there are barely any critics, for some reason. "Maguire is not at his best at the moment". Really? He hasn't been at his best the entire season. Or maybe it is his best, and he's just that bad?

Funny how at the start of the season, United had squad depth, and now, not even a single striker to replace Ronaldo when he has a bad game or an injury. Cavani is in some sort of long term vacation. Rashford is just bad. Greenwood... lol. Martial loaned. So now they end up with a 37 year old Ronaldo playing 3 games a week. Clever.
Midfield isn't much better, no options to replace anyone in case of injury. Loan one of the few options that United had, and don't buy any CDM in January. Another smart decision. In defense, just replace Maguire with anyone, even a traffic cone, and the team will be better. And why is Dalot not playing? Wan Bissaka is simply worse in almost everything.

I find it funny that people keep talking about Haaland, Lewa or Kane to go to United, yet they don't realise that new strikers won't solve the core problems of that team. This United team will make any striker look bad.

chelsea lads, which club will you support after you drop chelsea?

Quite surprised that no-one else posted about this news today.

Roman Abramovich has been sanctioned by the UK government, the news broke this morning and this is what it means.

The sale of the club is on hold.
The club can continue to play games as it was granted a special license.
The club cannot sell tickets for games.
Season ticket holders can still attend games and any other tickets sold before the 10th (today) can still be honoured.
The club can still keep paying wages to staff and players
Chelsea are effectively now under a transfer ban and cant buy or sell players.
They will also be unable to negotiate new contracts for players they currently own. Rudiger, Azplicueta and Christiansen are all out of contract in the summer.

That's pretty much the gist of it, but Three have asked for they're logos to be taken off the Chelsea shirts, I don't know how long this will last for.

Here are this weekends games.

Saturday.
Brentford v Burnley
Brighton v Liverpool (12.30 BT)
Man United v Tottenham (5.30 Sky)

Sunday.
Arsenal v Leicester (4.30 Sky)
Chelsea v Newcastle (2pm Sky)
Everton v Wolves
Leeds v Norwich
Southampton v Watford
West Ham v Aston Villa

Monday.
Crystal Palace v Man City (8pm Sky)

Non-TV games on Sunday kick off at 2pm.

More games on Sunday because of last nights games, Chelsea shrugged off the off field problems by beat Norwich 3-1, Wolves battered Watford 4-0 and Villa battered Leeds 3-0, Bruno Guimares scored his first Newcastle goal with a nice back heel flick in a 2-1 over Southampton.

Three re-arranged games taking place next week, the big one being Arsenal v Liverpool on Wednesday.

Brighton 0-2 Liverpool
Brentford 2-0 Burnley
Man United 3-2 Spurs

Luis Diaz scored Liverpool's first and was taken out by Brighton keeper Sanchez in the process, should have been a red card for that, Salah scored from the penalty spot just after the hour mark to seal the win. Toney scored two late goal including a penalty for Brentford and Burnley had Nathan Collins sent off.

Ronaldo returned to bag himself a hat trick in a back and forth game, A Kane penalty and a Harry Maguire own goal for Spurs goals, big win for United over a top four rival. 👍 👍

Plenty of news from today.

Chelsea 1-0 Newcastle
Leeds 2-1 Norwich
Southampton 1-2 Watford
Everton 0-1 Wolves
West Ham 2-1 Aston Villa
Arsenal 2-0 Leicester

Want to start the round up off with Andriy Yarmolenko of West Ham, the Ukrainian returned to action today following his couple of weeks off since Russia's invasion of the country, he came off the bench and scored. obviously an emotional moment for him and he was close to tears, Fornals got West Ham's second before Ramsey got a late goal for Villa

And there were a couple of late goals in the other games, Joe Gelhardt struck a 94th minute winner for Leeds in Marsch's first win in charge, Kai Havertz struck a late winner for Chelsea on a lucky win for them, they didn't play well and it was hard on Newcastle who had a great game, it was quite a sombre atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, Everton's relegation worries continue with that defeat to Wolves and they are now only out of the bottom three on goal difference but with a few games in hand, Coady with Wolves goal and Kenny was sent off for Everton for after two quick yellows, Watford picked up a surprise win over Southampton with Hernandez getting two goals.

Arsenal Leicester just finished, Partey header in the first half and a Lacazette penalty in the second, it was a Soyuncu handball which led to the penalty after a VAR check and ref looking at the monitor. Leicester had their chances and Ramsdale made a great save in the first half.

Arsenal now back in fourth with some games in hand, they play Liverpool on Wednesday in a huge game!

Crystal Palace 0-0 Man City.

Yeah so this just happened, City drop points in the title race! City had their usual possession and chances in abundance but Palace did well and held firm and its a good point for them.

Over to Liverpool on Wednesday now...

Chelsea requested for their FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough at the weekend to be played behind closed doors, this is because they cant sell tickets for the game due to the sanctions on the club, its a bit weird as the game is at the Riverside and not Stamford Bridge so its an away game for Chelsea.

Middlesbrough have since responded with a strongly worded statement saying the request is bizarre and pathetic by Chelsea, Boro chairman Steve Gibson went further by saying to The Athletic 'Chelsea and sporting integrity don't belong in the same sentence'

In the last few minutes Chelsea have withdrawn the request after its own supporters trust asked the club to withdraw it saying 'it doesn't benefit any fans'.

What a mess of a day for Chelsea, all this stuff has happened at the club in the last week and they don't know what to do or how to respond.

Brighton 0-2 Spurs
Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool

Jota and Firmino with Liverpool's goals in the second half and they now go within a point of Man City at the top (and a better goal difference) Alisson made a spectacular save before the first goal, Arsenal did well in the first half.

Cristian Romero and Harry Kane with the Spurs goals and Kane has now scored more away PL goals than anyone else, 95 goals in 135 games.

Everton 1-0 Newcastle.

Alex Iwobi's goal in the 90+9th minute of the game seal the win for Everton, the reason why there was so much added on time was becuase in the second half some idiot attached himself to the Everton goalpost with cable ties, apparently it was an oil protest and there was a stoppage so he could be freed using bolt cutters and led away.

FA Cup and Premier League action this weekend and I'll post the games tomorrow as usual, international break takes place after this weekend.

It has been awfully quiet on this thread in the past couple of weeks.

Thanks for keeping the updates going 👍
Big 3 points for Everton.

Can't stay here longer as I've got to clear out the back seat. I'm giving a lift to 2 of the chelsea squad in the back of my car tomorrow... 😉😂

Is the only reason why he is trending on Euro Thursdays because that's the only time he plays or is it something else??

Wolves 2-3 Leeds

Well what a game this was, Wolves 2-0 up at half time and cruising, Leeds having yet more injury problems with Bamford, Koch and Klich all going off before in the first half (Bamford was visibly upset) Wolves had Jiminez sent off for two yellows and Leeds with a second half comeback to win 2-3! Harrison, Rodrigo and Ayling with the Leeds goals and Jonny and Trincao with the Wolves goals.

Played my wildcard in Fantasy Football due to the fact most big teams arent playing.

Decided that would be an easy win for Wolves against struggling Leeds, so picked Jimenez for Captain. He got me MINUS 4 points! 😂 facepalm

Villa 0-1 Arsenal
Middlesbrough 0-2 Chelsea

Two comfortable away wins here, Saka scored for Arsenal in the first half and they should have scored more with the chances they had, its a big win for them in the top four race. Chelsea are through to the FA Cup semi finals thanks to first half goals from Lukaku and Ziyech and the game was pretty much over at half time, congrats to Middlesbrough on a very good cup run though.

Leicester 2-1 Brentford
Spurs 3-1 West Ham

Palace 4-0 Everton
Southampton 1-4 Man City
Forest 0-1 Liverpool

Big wins for Palace and Man City in the FA Cup, Everton had a good start to the games for the first 15 minutes but they had nothing after that. Guehi, Mateta, Zaha and Hughes with Palace goals. Sterling, De Bruyne pen, Foden and Mahrez with City's goals and a Laporte own goal for Southampton, a valiant effort from Nottingham Forest but Jota's goal was the difference, in the League Spurs move up to fifth with a big win over West Ham.

FA Cup semi final draw.

Man City v Liverpool
Chelsea v Crystal Palace

Ties to be played on weekend of April 16th, City and Liverpool meet in the league on the 10th!

International break has now started, there are a few bits of news though.

Liverpool and Man City supporters groups have asked for the FA Cup semi final to be moved from Wembley, there are no direct trains from either Liverpool or Manchester to London Euston that weekend.

The FA are in talks with the government about Chelsea possibly selling tickets for their cup semi final against Crystal Palace, Chelsea currently cannot sell tickets due to the sanctions imposed on owner Roman Abrahamovic by the government, I think the FA wants to see Wembley as full as possible.

Barcelona perhaps surprisingly beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu 4-0 in the Clasico yesterday. Aubameyang scored twice with Araujo and Ferran Torres also scoring.

Russia has declared an interest in hosting Euro 2028, yeah really! This is despite its current ban from international football. The UK and Ireland football associations have expressed a joint interest in staging the tournament, as has Turkey.

Chelsea will now be allowed to sell tickets for away games, cup matches and fixtures involving the women's team after the government made amendments to the clubs special license. The move means that the club can sell tickets for their home leg Champions League tie against Real Madrid and the cup semi final against Crystal Palace, Abramovich is also allowed to put £30 million into the club until it is sold to help keep the club going.

Probably the only way they would be able to get into a tournament is to host it. That is if they haven't turned the planet into a nuclear wasteland by then. 😲

Fingers crossed they have lost the launch codes eh! ;)
