It's because he's off to manage Manchester United under his "Ten Hag" identity.
How far does Steve Bruce live from Burnley 🤔
It's because he's off to manage Manchester United under his "Ten Hag" identity.
Were City's lineup changes dictated by that Atletico Madrid game or is it that the FA Cup is the one competition they are willing to sacrifice in pursuit of the bigger picture Premier League championship and a first Champion's League title?
Derby have been relegated to League One
I know Liverpool seem to play Man City every week, but I'm pretty sure they were playing Man United tonightLiverpool 4-0 Man City
Nice easy comfortable win for Liverpool with Salah scoring twice plus Diaz and Mane getting the others, another absolutely horrific performance from United who offered next to nothing and a couple of defensive mistakes lead to goals, only plus points for United were the minutes applause for Ronaldo on seven minutes from both sets of supporters which was really lovely to see and young Hannibal Mejbri who came off the bench late on and fouled a few Liverpool players quickly, who was the only one who showed some fight from United!
Fulham have been promoted back to the Premier League at the first time of asking after they beat Preston 3-0.
Crucial indeed, so many changes seemingly needed. Whoever the manager turns out to be, moving so many players in and out, if they can get the players in and out they want, whilst trying to change the attitude and playing style of the team, is potentially something that will not be done quickly. Will the new chap be given the time! 🤔Our season is done and it has been since we were knocked out of the Champions League a few weeks back, we have been in the top four fight but we were never going to get it, definitely won't now!
This summer is going to be so crucial, Ten Hag announcement is expected any day now and as many as 10 players leaving, need at least five or six to come in.
Without wishing to piss all over Manchester United (but really quite enjoying doing so)... again? Our season is done and it has been since we were knocked out of the Champions League a few weeks back, we have been in the top four fight but we were never going to get it, definitely won't now!

You can keep your Barry Bannan, we've got Jack Colback.Keep your Cristiano Ronaldo, we've got Barry Bannan.
I had to double-check, and yep... Juan Mata is still there, presumably with a seat reserved specifically for him on the bench. He's really been wasted there over the last few years (still only 33 apparently!).Moyes basically played Ferguson's squad, plus Mata and Fellaini for £65m.
He was actually Wednesday's keeper for a while, and did a pretty decent job; I'd have no objection to him returning to Hillsborough at all, even though it's 10-15 years on now.Had to have a look who Lee Grant was, 😲 and after you get past an actress (I remember her being very good in a Columbo episode ), apparently an ageing 3rd choice back up keeper. 🤔 Good reason for going under the radar.
What you have basically done there is some up United since Sir Alex retired 10 years ago, its been one disaster after the next!Without wishing to piss all over Manchester United (but really quite enjoying doing so)... again?
Moyes basically played Ferguson's squad, plus Mata and Fellaini for £65m. The excuse was Ferguson was just so good he got more out of the players than Moyes did - and Moyes was sacked in April after 10 months, with only a Community Shield.
Van Gaal came in and brough seven new players (Shaw, Rojo, Di Maria, Blind, Herrera, Fosu-Mensah, Malinkovic-Savic) for £160m, ditching Ferdinand, Fletcher, Vidic, Evra, Kagawa, Macheda, Wellbeck, Keane... and finished fourth with no trophies.
Then he did the same again, with six new players (Darmian, Depay, Martial, Romero, Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlein) for £80m. That got them the FA Cup... and Van Gaal the sack.
After that, it was The Special One. Season one, £150m spent on Pogba, Mhkitaryan and Bailly (plus Ibrahimovic on a free). Fifth place, Europa League win.
Second season, £150m spent on Lukaku, Lindelof, and Matic (and out with Wayne Rooney, Ibrahimovic, one-time next-big-thing Januzaj, and Mhkitaryan. Second place, but 19 points behind City and... no trophies.
Third season, Dalot and Fred for £70m (and Lee Grant, woo!)... sacked by Christmas, ending with no trophies and sixth place.
Then in came Solskjaer for a fifth reboot in seven seasons. £145m spent on Maguire, Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James - plus Bruno Fernandes in the January window for another £50m. No trophies, and third - 33 points behind Liverpool.
2020 brought in another five players for £80m combined, including Alex Telles (who?), Donnie van der Beek, Cavani (free!), and one of several Traores - with Smalling and Sanchez (a January signing for Mourinho, swapped with Mhkitaryan) leaving (and Rojo going in February). No trophies and second (12 points behind City).
And what happened last summer? In come Ronaldo (free), Varane, and Jaden Sancho for a cool £100m combined. Sacked by November, no trophies and they'll be lucky to scrap seventh.
So far you've had a new manager who'll come in and stop the rot every 2.5 years, and a billion pounds (a literally billion actual pounds) spent in nine summers (just summers) on an average of four new players at a time. What you have to show for it is a Community Shield, an FA Cup, and a Europa League, and crushing embarrassment.
And you're doing the exact same thing again this summer - and you think this will work this time?
I mean, it really looks like United are broken from Woodward and up, but every time it's the manager and down that gets replaced.
What happened to the talent conveyor belt that churned out the Class of 92? Why are City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, and Southampton developing young, British talent at such a rate now that the only current Manchester United players in any of the current four Home Nations squads are Luke Shaw (Southampton), Harry the Donkey Maguire (Sheffield ******), and Scott MacTominay (actually Manchester United) - and what the hell happened to Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho?
I mean, don't get me wrong, I find it hilarious - and honestly 2nd-7th each season and three trophies a decade is more than most clubs could ever hope for, so the moaning about it all is just delicious - but after a decade of "we need a new manager and five new players, oh no it's all gone wrong again" you'd think the fans at least would want to try something else.
United have so many problems, that changing the coach and a few players won't do much. In fact, they have so many players potentialy leaving, that 5 or 6 new ones won't even cover that. Then, the players who stay, have to fit in Ten Hag's style, which certainly won't be easy, as we saw with Rangnick.Without wishing to piss all over Manchester United (but really quite enjoying doing so)... again?
