I'll give both of those credit. The thought that went into them and presentation was quality.

Although when I first heard "WAU wildcard". I was hoping that Rossi and Hinchcliffe were coming back for another shot. Maybe one day.

How about a DJR (Penske) vs WAU (AA) pair of wildcards 💡. I don't think I have to write down who the Penske pair would be :sly:

Supercars have made two REC's available. I'm assuming Tickford will go for one in order to get Randle on the grid full time next year. Blanchard Racing maybe for the second one? Aside from someone new coming in, can't really see anywhere else it could possibly go.
Wasn't Matt Stone Racing looking at getting a third to do the split driver thingy again?

Edit: Just looked it up and they did... https://www.speedcafe.com/2020/10/12/msr-planning-three-car-expansion-for-2021/

...but they shelved it till Gen 3 because, same as Tickford, they couldn't get a REC https://www.speedcafe.com/2020/12/02/matt-stone-racing-shelves-plans-for-three-car-expansion/

Thomas Randle confirmed as wildcard entry for three rounds. The Bend, Hidden Valley and Wanneroo.

Marcos Ambrose is doing a great job as a presenter. I would say he’s a natural, but his time in the very commercialised NASCAR scene would have taught him a lot. It would be nice to see him on screen more, he’s been a bit of an enigma since retiring.

This split qualifying format can go and jump in the bin. So much for a "less technical" broadcast, doesn't really work when you have to keep explaining it.

And credit where it is due. That was an awesome effort from Jack Smith to qualify inside the ten. Fastest BJR car by quite some margin. Who would have thought?

Well I guess the good news for me is that with SVG out front I don't really feel like watching the whole race, so I can go to bed earlier as I am driving 9 hours tomorrow to Texas...

Find it interesting that we get multiple replays of the start from different angles. Yet they couldn't show a clear shot of what happened to Percat in the opening laps or even how Fullwood went off. Weird.

And also, yeah that was predictable. Expecting much of the same today. No one will even come close.

Ofc the one time SVG finally does not win... it ends up being Whincup who prevails.

Some good drives outside of the podium. Both Kelly Grove cars in the ten after their shocker yesterday and Will Brown 5th. Nice stuff.

Not an particularly entertaining race by any means but man, that was a mega drive from Mostert.

Three winners from three races. More of this please.

Is Peter Hughes still the one doing the WAU liveries? He's done a ripper job this year. Kurt Kostecki's wildcard looks the business.

Striping looks familiar.

Everywhere! :sly:

Edit: I've always been a big fan of the look of the Castrol liveried cars... until now that is.

Why have they used such a horrible pasty green?:yuck: Edit: Whew, it looks much better on TV today :).
