Great finish to the race. Glad Ross Chastain got his first win. Hats off to Trackhouse Racing. AJ showing why he is barely Xfinity worthy in his interview, all but crying that he got moved after he moved Chastain. Glad that Tony Stewart pointed out that Chastain has "paid his dues". Something that bums like Elliott, Almirola, Dillon and Byron would know nothing about. Larson and Bowman will continue to carry the flag for HMS. Since JRM seems to be a feeder for HMS, it might be wise to put Noah Gragson in the #24 next year. Did I mention another great finish for Bubba?

Almirola,
Anyone that thinks Almirola hasn't paid his dues clearly hasn't been following NASCAR very long. Granted I don't exactly expect anything approaching an educated opinion from you, but this take seems brainless even from you.

I sometimes have to remind myself that Almirola finished FIFTH in like, 2018?

Granted, I think that was when SHR was THE team to beat. He currently sits as the only driver to finish on the lead lap for every race so far so...

To be honest though, they really should implement some sort of local caution system or let IMSA run this race. The truck and xfinity series were insufferable, the cup series was okay but I guess that's just cause the first two stages ran fault free.

Almirola had one hell of a career in NASCAR, even if there's only a handful of wins to show for it. The fact he was booted out of a car mid-race because of a sponsor, that back injury, and constantly getting flat out wrecked when he could've had a win at Daytona speaks volume he never packed it in earlier.

I really hope he sticks around and goes to the booth, cause man do I get the feeling he's got some stories to tell.

I would hardly call having 3 wins in nearly 400 starts, of which 2 are shortened a hell of a career. The only reason he is even there is he has Commie Smithfield behind him.

Round 4 of the 2022 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series from Richmond Raceway is live in 20 minutes.

I can't believe that racing at COTA annually is even a discussion. Seems like a foregone conclusion to me.

Great race. Strategies were fascinating to watch play out. Speed difference between the 1 stop and 2 stop in the final two stages helped facilitate passing. Bummed that Byron wasn’t able to hold on with super worn out tires thanks to his 1 stop final stage. But awesome run by Hamlin to get the win.

First time we've seen extremely long runs (especially on a short track). Aside from the 45 stopping, the 51 getting turned by the 43, and the 2 getting bumped, the race was clean.

I’m case anyone wasn't aware, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is running in tonight’s Xfinity Series race.

Brandon Jones may not show flashes of brilliance very often, but when he does it is certainly impressive.

It was a good race for Kaulig getting 2nd and 3rd with Hemric getting back to 13th. Parker Retzlaff finished 12th, if he keeps running like he has the last couple races I have to imagine he will be full-time somewhere in the next year or so.

Damn! Gibbs got a couple shots to Mayer's head post-race.
It's easy to play the tough guy when your helmet is still on...

I think it's time for grandpa to sit him down as he is going to join the list of drivers forced to miss a race or two at the pace he is going.

Edit:

Hope they're ok.

It doesn't seem like the race will be happening tonight. I wonder if NASCAR & Good Year will second guess putting the oval rain tire project on the back burner as I think Martinsville would be a great place to try them due to the low banking and speeds.

The 100 miles at Atlanta should have been converted to 100 laps at Martinsville.
