I know everyone is all gung ho about North Wilkesboro but I couldn't care less. Same with Bristol dirt. One of the best tracks covered in dirt for a pavement race series sucks IMO.

The Trucks probably have the best schedule, but also the worst racing of the big 3. Still depending on what ticket prices are like I might go to Milwaukee just because opportunities to go there are limited (ARCA alone isn't worth the trip).

North Wilkesboro is cool to see purely because in a time when tracks are closing (or under threat) left and right it's nice to see one make a comeback from a seemingly permanent death.

I agree with Bristol though, it was cool for the first year but the novelty wore off rather quickly.

Sounds like Mayor Lightfoot paid off the aldermen, last I heard some of them weren't happy about the street circuit.

We'll be watching the Chicago street race from home. Sounds like a nightmare.

Interesting that Xfinity is doing both Chicago and Road America.

I'm shocked that the Trucks are coming back to the Milwaukee Mile, and that it's a playoff race.

Barring a postrace penalty, Tyler Reddick, Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon and Kevin Harvick have been eliminated from the playoffs.

I was just going to post that. For Texas standards this is sort of entertaining.

And a big hit for the 51 in turn 4.

Oh my goodness. Horrible crash for Cody Ware. Car looks like he hit a wall head on with the front all pushed in, then he flew down pit road stopping in the 78’s box narrowly avoiding a gap in the wall. He seems to have collapsed after they pulled him from the car.

Edit: They just moved him on a stretcher into an ambulance.

Goodyear needs to figure something out with this tire. We can’t keep having all these blowouts like we’re having. It’s not acceptable.

Reddick wins! Haley also brings it home in 3rd!

It's crazy to think we've tied the record for different winners in a season and set one for consecutive Playoff races won by non (current)-Playoff drivers.

It's a good thing next week will be a nice calm race. ;)

Race control is cursed at Texas. They somehow one up their incompetence seen from the All-Star race earlier this year.

With the tire issues from last night's race and the ongoing car safety saga, it will be a long week for NASCAR leadership.

They showed the replay on TV during the yellow flag. Surely NASCAR would have seen the footage before they went back green? And there's no way Hamlin's team wasn't on the horn to the officials screaming about it.

Incompetent is an understatement.

Some Kiwi is in talks to drive the #91.

Obviously not as big of a name as Kimi, but his racing record is just as impressive. If it happens I would love to see McLaughlin in a 4th Penske car for the same race.

Texas Motor speedway itself is cursed.
They should take Larson's advice and blow it up and just start over.

If ambrose is anything to go by it will be interesting to see what a supercars driver does with the next gen car

Knowing NASCAR, they'd turn it into a 1/2 mile short track, and because it's Texas, the inaugural race would somehow wipe out half the field.

How the turn tables...
Imagine someone whom was ten years old when North Wilkesboro host it's last race. That kid's probably got kids now, and can quietly laugh knowing Texas is on par with Kentucky, lol.

Both Byron and Ty Gibbs have been docked points and fined.

Considering how the Playoffs have gone so far, that penalty might really hurt Byron.
