Christopher Bell wins at the Roval and knocks the defending champion Larson out of the playoffs!

All it took was one late caution to finally make things interesting and throw the playoffs into chaos.

I still have no idea how Briscoe is moving on. He has a total of 6 7 top 10's on the entire season after today. I find it crazy that Larson is out and am bummed that Suarez is finished, too. You've gotta hand it to Bell, tough. He had to win and got it done. Yes, the caution helped, but they made a good call and he did exactly what he needed to do.

Also props to Haley on his top 5. The Dinger did his thing, so that made two Kaulig cars with strong finishes. It would be great to see another team do what Trackhouse has done and get themselves into contention on a weekly basis.

The #41 team has been handed a rather big punishment.

In itself it's fine, but when you consider the fact Byron's original penalty for spinning Hamlin under caution wasn't even close to that and later reduced to a simple fine it really does seem like NASCAR's "crime tier" is out of whack.

Tonight is round 17 of the 2022 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series from Homestead-Miami Speedway. This is the one and only elimination race in the eNASCAR Playoffs and will decide the Championship 4.

This really sucks for Kurt. Just how hard did he hit the wall that would cause these symptoms to continue like they are? I fear he may just call it quits on his career if he doesn't start recovering more quickly. And if he retires, will Reddick move over a season early to get a jump start with his new team? I think Silly Season is about to get sillier.
I sort of called it in August, just in the opposite order. The Reddick news came before Kurt's 2023 announcement.

So, a little thought has been looming in my mind for a bit.

With DGR going to toyota in truck, that means Deegan's out of a ride essentially (If Ford keeps her in the developmental program).

Realistically, where could she go? She did decent in the xfinity race today, so that tells me she'll wind up there.

Bubba Wallace with “Dumbest Move of the Day” award. Sure he got squeezed into the wall, but you DO NOT right hook someone in retaliation. Especially with the speed they’re running on these 1 1/2 milers. And then starting a shoving match with Larson because he forgot how to wreck someone without wrecking himself? Tasteless.

Plus he took out a TRD teammate, ruining his day in the process.

"I don't lift"

Well, if you did, you and your Toyota mate would still be driving.

The 5 was a bit too aggressive with his move, but Bubba should have been thinking about his race, he was fast and now he isn't.

Wallace made a very dumb decision and he might deserve to be parked for a race for that behavior.

Hate that it's gonna come to this but...it's gonna come to this...

What a load of ********.
Again, I'm not happy about it, but there's no way in our extremely online 2022 world that it doesn't devolve into that. ☹️
Should be an easy decision, but some people are always gonna read something into it.

Gragson not getting penalized at Road America for his intentional wreck of another car doesn't help NASCAR justify the punishment either way.

True, but between this being a Cup race (with the new Cup car, which has received a lot of negative publicity r.e. safety), an oval race, a Playoff race with a Playoff driver being collateral damage and, last but not least, NASCAR frequently treating precedent like some esoteric, alien concept, I can actually see them coming down hard on Bubba.

Considering the way NASCAR has reacted to everything else besides modifying the cars this year you could very well make an argument the first selection is true if it were to happen.

All I know is the reaction segment of DBC should be great this week.

Dirty Air on DJD as well.

I see the JGR sportsmanship code of conduct is still alive and well.

hopefully hamlin won't take a peek while driving, especially with chastain ahead of him.
