Literally everything. I refuse to believe the Cowboys defense is this good, but they made the Giants look like a D2 college team. Every hit was a fumble, every pass was a tip interception or near pick. Cowboys just played out of their minds... domination in every phase.
Pretty accurate summation buddy. Now I know how Romo felt all those years ago, heheh.

Allen was just pretty bad yesterday when throwing the ball. Jets had to put Hall on a "pitch clock" but he looked extremely good running. Jets still need a QB but probably don't need someone as good as Rodgers to make the playoffs.

You are not guaranteed to win the Super Bowl by winning in Week 1. You are not guaranteed a 1st Round Draft pick in the next NFL draft with a loss in Week 1. It's time to set up Week 2.

THIS WEEK...

* My Houston Texans will host the Indianapolis Colts in an AFC South tilt. Both teams looking for their first win of the season.

* Joey D's Detroit Lions will host the Seattle Seahawks. Yep- birds and cats... oh, my!

* Speaking of cats, Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals will try to get over getting embarrassed in Cleveland by hosting the Baltimore Ravens. This is an AFC North battle. And... MORE birds vs. cats!

* Blitz24's New York Jets will pay a visit to the Dallas Cowboys in one of the afternoon games. Dallas whacked one New York team, but can they defeat the other one?

* NFC East meets NFC West as the New York Giants will be at the Arizona Cardinals. The Giants will try to bounce back after getting blanked 40-0 at home to Dallas.

* The Denver Broncos will host the Washington Commanders. Can the Commanders elevate their game a Mile High to top the Broncos?

* Omnis' Miami Dolphins will be going PRIME TIME when they are at the New England Patriots for this week's Sunday Night Football match.

Finally, we have not one, but TWO Monday Night Football games! Check it:

* Who dat say dey gon' beat dem Saints? The Carolina Panthers just might do so when they host the New Orleans Saints. Or... the Saints can just tame the Panthers in that beautiful stadium in Charlotte in this Monday Night NFC South Showdown.

* The Cleveland Browns will enter some AFC North action when they go to a team with another beautiful stadium- the Pittsburgh Steelers in the other Monday Night Football match this week.

Enjoy this week's games!

Cowboys will probably feast on the Jets O-Line but Dak will probably be harassed by the Jets secondary.

Much better than this one that put the Rams at 26 and the team they beat at 18! How is that possible?

At first I thought, Bru Bills and Bengals that low, are you high? But other than that really decent list.

Really looking forward to the season. Intrigued about the new generation of QBs being the face of the league.

Can Tua finally silence the doubters for good?
Are Allen and Herbert for real or are was their accurate phase just a fluke and will the be Jameis 2.0?
Can Burrow really challenge Mahomes for the throne?
Can Watson bounce back to his phenomenal Texans self. And can he finally get therapy and seriously change his ways or will he ultimately succumb to his demons?
Can the rookie QBs deliver and replenish the hopes of their teams' fans?
Will the Browns defense be one for the ages?
Will Miles Garrett finally win DPOY? Or will Micah Parsons turn into a JJ Watt in his prime dominator?
Will Sauce Gardner leave no doubt that he really is the best cornerback in the game?

I could go on and on. The unpredictability is what I love about this game the most.

Toilet Bowl this weekend baby, woooo! It's never too early for the, 'Hey, should we tank our season?' talk for draft picks, right?

Yeah, I was listening to Rich Eisen on Tuesday and his power rankings were a joke. I mean, part of the whole point of them being Rich Eisen's are that they're not totally serious. But all these other reputable/serious people have these rankings out that are just trash. Right now, nobody should have the Lions under the Chiefs until Kelce gets back.

I think the problem is that people think Power Rankings are supposed to be what team is going to have a better record when the season is over. No, the whole point is that it's supposed to be for what team is hot going into that week. Jets I would've had at 7 if Rodgers didn't get hurt and had any kind of good game. Same thing for the Bills if they won and Josh Allen didn't look like a moron running into contact trying to be superman and throwing 4 picks to the same guy.

Tanking means losing on purpose. Not sure your Giants need that this year to get Caleb Williams.
I know, I was just kidding. Daniel Jones should be better than Caleb Williams.....right?

Jerome

Would you trade Jones for Bryce Young (even giving Young's mediocre first game)? I absolutely would. Given what we know right now about Williams this logic holds for him at No. 1 next year as well. But of course this is subjective.

Would I say the same if my QB was Jared Goff? I guess. Some aging dude in decline like Russell Wilson? Probably. Some younger dude with at least some potential like Jordan Love? I'd still say yes but much less sure than the others.

But where does one draw the line and how do you value all these QBs in the first place? How important is it to win the "we have an actual top 10 QB" lottery rather than just having a game manager that does not actively lose you games? What about the bust chance of high potential but unproven rookies?

This game is just way to crazy to have answers. Still fun to ramble about in my opinion. :)

For sure, buddy. A lot of rookies, while its a steep learning curve, have a unique advantage over guys like Jones, in that the Defense doesn't know what to expect from the QB. What would the OC give the new QB early on, or in week 12? This usually holds up well against non division rivals the most as they don't study out of division/conference teams as closely (they certainly do, but the easiest path to the playoffs is to win the division, so those teams always get the most time I believe).

If I had the choice last August between Jones and Young, I would've said Young. But last season Jones looked good enough, top 50% easily. I guess I have nothing to do except to wait and see what happens against the Cardinals on Sunday haha.

Then I just saw this  😭

No matter what your plans are for this Sunday, feel free to make NFL football part of your Sunday. Be sure to enjoy today's games, including the nightcap involving Omnis' Miami Dolphins meeting the New England Patriots.

Enjoy today's games!

All these crazy games and we got stuck with JAX v KC. :ill: 🤷‍♂️ Swear to god, the Jaguars would be 2-0 if Trevor Lawrence could throw a catchable pass in bounds. Dude couldn't loft a touch pass to save his life. I've never seen a QB throw 8 passes out of the back of the endzone on 2 successive drives down to the 2-yard line.

All these crazy games and we got stuck with JAX v KC.
Seriously. The Colts were on FOX, so you'd think the Bengals' game against rival Baltimore would air on CBS considering Cincinnati is only a short jaunt down I-74 from Indy. Instead we were stuck with JAX v KC like you.

The Houston Texans failed again. This time, 31-20 to the visiting Indianapolis Colts. Two touchdowns by Indy in the first few minutes of the game set the tone. Texans made some great plays, but the improving defense still got torched by the Colts' offense. We might as well be 0-3 next week at Jacksonville.

Congratulations to all winners from this week! Sadly, a lot of our favorite teams also failed today. Was yours one of them, and what happened?

I stopped watching the Giants game at halftime. I had enough after getting blanked 60-0 in 6 quarters. When I saw the score was tied late in the 4th I tuned in, just in time to see Barkley hurt his ankle.

At this rate though, I'll take any win

Jerome

The Bengals finally scored some touchdowns on offense today, but the result was still a loss. 0-2 start to the season, just like last year. It's still early, but both losses have been against divisional opponents. Not favorable for tiebreaking purposes if the playoffs come into question.

Jets still do not have a QB. Oh well.
That's more than the other NY team can say. Ugly win for the Fins tonight. Tua has fumbled like 4 of 6 snaps taken under center so far this season. He even fumbled the victory formation. Needs work. Also, Fangio's defense is soooooooo different than Boyer's. I've never seen nickel personnel play press man in the slot and off coverage on the corners.

Saints at Panthers and Browns at Steelers, both TONIGHT!

This is that one Monday night where there are two games on instead of just one. Two times the awesome in one night!

* NO Saints at CAR Panthers
FAVORED: NO (-3)
OVER/UNDER: 39.5 points

* CLE Browns at PIT Steelers
FAVORED: CLE (-2)
OVER/UNDER: 38 points

If you will be watching/following either or both games, enjoy tonight's action!

Actually, this is the first of Two Mondays in a row we get 2 games, but what's really rare this year is a Friday night game on the US Thanksgiving weekend to go along with the usual 3 on Thursday.
Kind of wish they added a Sat game as well, to make 4 days in a row, maybe next year.🤞

Zac Taylor on if Burrow will be ready to play next Monday night after tweaking his calf injury late in the game yesterday: "Hard to say right now." He's come back from injuries before, but that's a little worrisome to hear. :scared:

Jets still do not have a QB. Oh well.
I will say this about Wilson. I did see some slight improvement during the game. I don't think Hackett did him any favors though. They should have done more play action and maybe have more 2 TE será. And move the pocket some. Also the same way Dallas was sinking and dunking to mitigate the Jets Rush Hackett should have done the same thing. Wilson used his legs some, he did make especially when they really started pressuring him but I don't feel like the Jets gave him a chance. Also they made no adjustments. That said Wilson needs to show something next game against the Pats. Also their offensive line was offensive. They do need to find a QB but outside of Cousins who you get?

Spots 20-30 are the Zone of Mediocrity. Literally a toss-up at this point as to who is better than whom (they're all really bad this year) Literally the worst place to be in terms of missing playoffs but also missing marquee talent in the draft.

As a Steelers fan I would say #22 is being generous - our offence is absolutely attrocious.

Yeah, you guys are terribad. But so are everyone else below you lol. Prayers to Nick Chubb... poor guy probably tore everything in his knee off.
