It's actually a majority of a bar on a graph, and "majority" isn't particularly meaningful when the differential on that bar is just eight points.
What, specifically, does the bar represent? I'd wager it's a simple "voted for this or that," in which case it doesn't represent Gen X as a demographic, rather it represents Gen X who voted in a particular election...a meaningfully smaller demographic and, again, just barely half of it.
Not a collective viewpoint, if only because the collective is composed of disparate enough elements. But it's certainly not a collective viewpoint because I'd wager that the bar represents a simple "voted for this or that" and does not go into the factors that drive the choice. And again, it's still just barely half of those in said collective that voted one way rather than the other.
This is just you attributing to barely half of those of a particular age who voted one particular way your own viewpoint; pure fantasy.
This would be more persuasive, though still not accurate, coming from one who hadn't just cried like a little bitch about "demonization." As ever, the "**** your feelings" crowd is very concerned about their own feelings.
LOL I never cried about anything.
I'll give you $1000 right now if you show me where I "cried like a little bitch" about being demonized by Democrats or anything else.
You can't, because you're obviously just gas lighting. It's right there in orange and white. I get it, you're pissed off, but don't take out your frustrations on me.
I said that demonizing half of the country
is not a good strategy by the Dems. They did that and lost but I don't think that's why they lost. I think it's mainly because of their economic policies. Not what they say, but what they actually do. They are are all professional liars, on both sides.
I bet most people voting for Trump don't personally like the guy either. They just want something different than the past four years, mainly in economic policies and he was their only other viable choice. They voted for Trump in spite of Trump's personality, not because of it. Most probably didn't vote for Trump, but voted against Kamala and what she represents. And of course he was already President for four years and we did just fine back then so people see through the Dem's demonetization of him and anyone that votes for him or supports him. Calling people N*zis, etc.. It's ridiculous.
I personally think most people with any real power in governments everywhere around the world including in the US are corrupt psychopaths and I'm 100% skeptical of all of them, "left" or "right", Republican or Democrat (in the US). Anyone that isn't skeptical of these psychos on both sides needs to step back and take a look at what they actually do, not what they say or what they say they'll do which are usually very different things.
My post was just about pointing out why I think people voted the way they did. It's the economy stupid. Of course there are other factors, but the economy is the main one for most people here in the US. Would you like to see another chart? Well tough, go look it up yourself. 😆 People are sick and tired of being taxed to death and seeing their money devalued and wasted by the government.
But this thread is seriously toxic AF. There's absolutely nothing constructive happening in here and I don't feel like wasting my precious time arguing with people on the internet! You should all just calm the **** down, seriously.
Peace out ✌
