Update from Marc VDS:

Conditions hotter, pace faster today. Tyre wear higher also. Crash could possibly have been caused by puncture in rear tyre.

A lot of tyre issues today.👎

One of the Risi Competizione F430 is in the pit for quite some time... Wonder what's going on there. Also I'm hoping the Spyker to get back out quickly..

Although obviously very sad for Lamy, Bourdais and Pagenaud, the retirement of the N°3 Peugeot shortly before the three-hour mark has changed very little at the top of the leaderboard. The French team continues to dominate with three cars on the provisional podium, while the best-placed Audi (the N°7 car of McNish/Capello/Kristensen) is 1m 40s down.

The pace of the R15s doesn’t seem to be a match for the 908s in the current conditions, but the German team’s management will probably take heart in the fact that their rivals are not invincible.

Next in the LMP1 class come the N°007 and N°009 Aston martins which are trailing by two laps after three hours’ racing.

Strakka Racing’s HPD ARX seems to have the edge in the battle for LMP2 honours. The British team currently has a cushion of practically a lap over the similar Highcroft Racing machine. The team acknowledges that it doesn’t have the pace of its rival and a further half-a-minute was lost in the pits for a windscreen change.

The N°60 Ford still leads the N°73 Corvette in LMGT1, but the American brand tops the order in LMGT2 with the N°64 factory car ahead of the N°82 Ferrari.

I'm not sure, but I think the Art Car's been sent back out.

Edit: Also, one of the Audis ran over a camera man.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!.

Marc VDS have retired.👎:(

A man has been hit in the pit lane!. Hope he is ok, looked bad.:nervous:

#3 out... Just went for some shopping and this happens... 🤬

From Le Mans Live dot com:

Lamy: “I suddenly felt a vibration and then realised that the suspension was broken. It was only when I got the car back to the pits that I realised that it was all over, however. Now I am just very sad…“

Suspension broken free and made a hole in the chassis.

:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

:grumpy:

Something i've noticed about Speeds stream is that if you go full screen, then come back out, the screen is all black and you have to refresh the page. Not a big deal, really.

Edit: Is it me, or has the JLOC car been in the pits for a good bit of time?

It also looks better full screen than it does in small screen

was watching that, great battle with the Aston:tup:

I was watching it through my TV earlier too, an awesome feature by Audi.👍 Is it running for the full 24 hours?.

Art car back in the pits with steering problems.

What do you guys think about Pug. not trying to pull out the lead and have time in hand should things go pear shaped. (...as is the discussion on RLM)

Another puncture for the Art car, they're way down the running order 49th out of 51 cars still running
