Someone tell me where live timing is. The site of LeMans is ok, but they have a weird readout, I wanna see a different one.

Anyone here gonna wake up all night to watch the race and later F1?

Im sure i am :D

I won't unfortunately. I'm really, really tired and I don't feel I'd manage it. I'm just staying a bit more and hoping my email will get a mention, then I'm off to bed and right back to action tomorrow morning 👍

According to Chronos the GT1 Ford is still ahead of the GT2 cars, but is it up to date?

EDIT: they are no longer in front, but still on track with the Saleen and Vette.

I'd like too, but I'm not sure I'd make it. By the time I would doze off, only 3 hours would be left and I would miss the finish.

I've decided I want the Saleen to win GT1 now, RLM said the exact same thing I was thinking about it earlier.(Designed to race at Le Mans, but has never won and this is the last year of GT1 at Le Mans)The car more than deserves it:tup:

That's that then, Saleen to retire in the next 3 hours thanks to you...:P

I hope so too y'know, and I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that is thinkg that they will not make it. Seeing as I've been sleeping at a neighbour's house all week, I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight, and the temptation will only grow during the night.

Well i'm not sure about that. I'm sure if you search JLOC in this thread i've mentioned them a large number of times and they're still running. The Saleen is not in anybody's avatar either;)

The #60 Matech GT looks ready to go back out on track soon.

sucks that Jaguar's out...they had an early out at Sebring, as well. They need to get that car working well enough to complete one of theses endurance races.

Sucks also that the Ford GTs have been having issues. It was nice to see the Vettes NOT in the lead of GT1. But, I'm going for Spyker in GT2....really, anyone but Corvette or Porsche will do.

The Ford GT would be in front of GT1 and GT2 if it weren't for a race incident. They're a few laps off, but if they can get back out there, their lap times are 5-10 seconds faster than all the GT2's. I'm still pulling for Aston DBR9 and some help.

What are the differences between GT1 and GT2 cars? Just wondering why GT2 can be faster than pretty much all of GT1.

1. Better reliability
2. Higher level of professionalism
3. Better backing up from the manufacturers
4. Small differences between class performance
5. Better drivers

Just some of the things that come to mind. The pole time for both classes was only 3 seconds which is almost nothing for two different classes. Also, don't forget some of those teams in GT2 are incredibly professional (pointing at the 'Vettes, Flying Lizard and Risi now) and have been involved in Le Mans for so long now and the reliability of the GT2 sees to be a gazillion-billion times better.
