Congratulations to Audi, their consistency and care gave them what they deserved.👍

Also big congratulations to Larbre Competition!! LMGT1 Winners:D:tup: It's taken 10 years, but they finally have what they set out for and at the end of GT1 @ LM.:(

Well done also to the rest of the finishers.👍

A truly EPIC race all the way through!!!

They've done it guys, they've done it! Fantastic race it was, and no regret at all staying up throughout the whole night and day.

Congratulations to Audi of Timo Bernhard and to all others who finally made it to the end of the race. LMP2 by Danny Watts in the Strakka, GT1 by the Saleen and GT2 by the Felbermayr Porsche.

It has been fun and great to spend times with you guys here, discussing the happiness, sadness and shocks.. This is just magnifiscent! Thank you all, thank you for spending such amount of time here together. Thank you :)

Not to forget, the one that I support the most through the race, BMW Team Schnitzer. Eventhough they face a lot of problems and bad luck but they finally made it to the end. Well with less Art Car of course. Congratulations to them!

Well done Audi! :) Top performance and a faultless race for them apart from the 2 small offs, Congratulations to the Strakka team for the overall 5th place and 1st in P2. Congratulations to the Labre Competition team for the 1st place in the last running of GT1 and congratulations also to the Team Felbermayer Porsche for winning the GT2 category against all the factory teams. Big congrats also to the Drayson Racing team for making it to the end, top job by them 👍

Also thank you to all of you on here who have been following the race and kept me up to date with everything thats been happening and the discussion that has been going on here, hope to see you all watching again next year :)

Congratulations for Audi and all the other finishers did good. Im very suprised BMW still managed to finish after a problem every single lap lol

Excellent race, lots of drama and some great battles! Been great following the race with you boys even if I didn't post too that much.

I'm debating whether to sleep before F1 now, as I might not wake up for 12 hours!

I have to say Audi really deserved this one, they had a plan and even while Peugeot increased the pace, they stuck to and went there way. Great job for them.

Congrats to Audi and all the other teams that finished the race; it's been exciting and dramatic. Also, thanks to everyone here, it was a lot of fun to follow the race with you guys.

It's 6am here and it's time for a couple hours of sleep.

Gentlemen, I cannot thank you all enough for making this experience even better. I've thoroughly enjoyed all this great banter, updates, links and general mini-community for the last 24 hours. We've had highs and lows, moments of anger and happiness that we've all shared, I am truly emotional from the end of this Epic event.

All the best,

Tom  :) 👍

Huge congrats to Audi. Not only is this their 9th win, it will also mark the 6th year since Audi's LMPs went 1-2-3 w/ the R8.

Well done Audi, other class victors and indeed the remaining, rather small handful of cars that could actually finish this year. Thanks also One HD for putting on so much coverage woot woot!

Same again next year

Definitely. We should do a thread for the Silverstone 1000KM when that comes round in a few months, it's basically the same cars and an endurance race(just a bit shorter than this;)).👍

Next year guys, next year ;)

Around 3 hours left before F1 starts, sooo...see you guys later then. I kinda like that Michelin Mascot

Excellent race, I really enjoyed what I managed to see of it. Very surprised that Audi managed to take the win for it. But really pleased for them 👍 Congrats to Larbe, finally Saleen have won it. I would have preferred Aston to win GT1 but not everything you want can happen.

I'd like to echo what Tommi said, it's been a great community here for the time I've been watching. I'm gutted I didn't get to watch the whole race but even still that doesn't stop the whole feel. I'd like to publicly thank Tommi2000 as he, probably unknown to everyone else, but as I was DJ'ing last night he kept texting me updates to what was going on, it is really appreciated and helped me keep in touch with the race just a little bit more 👍

Thanks again guys, it's been awesome.

Indeed. I agree with you on the Audi front.

Yup, and that's the one heartening story for me left of the race. Is it bad that I didn't bother watching the finish? Quite depressing. Corvettes knocked out, respect lost for the Peugeot team, then they all blow up and fade away as the Audis march relentlessly on...Mansell out early, glad he's alright. Astons have problems very late on. Matech Fords crashing out. It's quite sobering to hear the Aston team say that they will not bother with the Petit Le Mans as they know the diesels will be there, and there's no point competing as they won't get anything from the race. I still stand by what I say, forget the silly regulations they're planning on introducing next year for LMP1, just equalise petrols and diesels and other fuel sources - give everyone an equal chance of victory, regardless of what fuel type they use.

Could this be the last great LM24hrs for recent years? We'll see, as those new regs make more and more sense, but until then, congrats to Audi! 👍

And big thanks to all of you guys on here, you've all made it a fantastic experiance, it's been great fun! Lot of good guys on here, intelligent discussion, barely any pointless trolling, which is all good by me! Fantastic stuff, I've loved it, I really have, thanks again all!

Now...who wants a beer? Or shall we save them for after the GP? :sly:
