Thank you for forgetting me!

Tough race, little consistency from me with a best of a 33.4. Battles with King and Appie early on. Apologies to Mr.Happy for the crash into spoon, not sure what happened, I had the inside, but from my POV, you seemed to be going on to the grass at every bend in the track. I let you back past on the home straight. You'd have soon caught me up anyway. Thanks to King, two collisions but both times he waited, nice to race with people who wait, even if not every time the 100% blame is on them. :)

Was quite close with Appie, caught up with him on the home straight (penalty on the chicane? You seemed slow through the straight), slipstreamed him, but you can't overtake up into T1 complex easily, so I held back, you then subsequently ran wide. From there on in, I held the lead, I gained a bit in the 2nd pit stop, I think, bang on 8s, seemed to gain some time in the last few laps, as well.

Suzuka GP race order:

1st. Shaggy Alonso - 11 pts (Jordan GP)
2nd. Kakundoo - 8 pts (Brawn GP)
3rd LewyOs - 6 pts (Williams)
4th. MrHappy - 5 pts (Brawn GP)
5th. fishfash - 4 pts (Team Aguri)
6th. Sureboss - 3 pts (Team Aguri)
7th. Kingmart1n - 2 pts (Williams)
8th. Appie - 1 pt (Jordan GP)
9th. Ardius - 0 pts (Independent)

Pole Position - Shaggy Alonso - 1:31.8xx
Fastest Lap - Shaggy Alonso - 1:31.711

I had a nice race. Got in two good laps out of 3 in qualy, first was a 1:32.1, 2nd was a 1:32.8 and my last was a 1:31.8. This was enough for pole but I was surprised to see Kakundoo was only 6 tenths slower so any thoughts of an easy race went out the window.

I got off to a good start and Kakundoo had another bad one and I think he ended up in 5th by the end of the first lap, he soon worked his way back up to 2nd getting past fishfash in the process, who was clearly struggling with the sixaxis. I got into a very good rhythm in my first stint and pulled out a nice gap managing another 1:31.8 to hold provisional fastest lap. From there on I just kept the car on the track, trying to just lap consistently in mid 1:32's and trying not to make any errors. I managed this but pushed with a couple of laps to go with a 1:31.7 to get extra insurance on the fastest lap as I didn't get any slipstream at any point and worried that Kakundoo behind me might steal the FL.

Due to the glitch I was put a lap down, but otherwise the race order was displayed correctly, so thankfully it was a simple enough process working out who came where. Was annoying being a lap down though in that I think I only got to race 18 and a half racing laps haha, but I drove the remaining amount just for the craic anyway.

Kudos to Appie, Kingmart1n and I think Sureboss for giving me tons of room when I was unlapping myself.

Onto Interlagos now, where I believe I need a 3rd place to be guaranteed the championship, I suck at Interlagos as well :nervous:

Steal it like I did at Magny-Cours ;) lol.
Oh and thanks to Ardius for giving me plenty of room when I came round to lap you. I gave you a little car movement to say thanks :D.

I love Interlagos, it will be interesting to see if i'm good at it though lol. Even though i'm 5 points down, it might be the same sort of scenario as what we saw in the F1 in 2008! Which makes me Felipe Massa :D, I just hope the roles are reversed haha.
However, you still have the advantage of using the G25, which makes you a lot faster...:nervous:

I qualified 6th i think. Got a ok start i see gyles braking early so i did and got nudged by appie at T1 which sent me off the track (don't think he noticed as he didn't wait). I see a few crashs infront of me and was right behind boss soon after. Then a few laps later i hit him after i got draft down the straight. Then he makes a mistake at the last corner and i pass him but he got the toe down in2 T1 and i hit him again as my car went side ways.( Sorry for the crashs sureshot). I caught appie up just before my 2nd stop and when i came out the pits shaggy was lapping me so i moved over. Then made a few mistake so appie was well gone. He must of had a bad last lap as i caught him just before the line 2 take the position.

All I need to do is be the fastest person on the track and then hopefully have two people between me and Shaggy, which could be any number of people as they all have talent...

Really Shaggy? That is interesting, it shows that you're quicker anyway.

Congrats to Shaggy with the hat-trick :)

Only got 1 lap in and I think I qualified 4th. At the start there was just mayhem and all I saw where car parts and cars flying all over the place. Anyway I found myself in 2nd and 5 laps later I got a corner cut and Kak got by.

I was in 3rd for nearly the entire race and was battling with Lewy for most of the race and we banged wheels a few times but nothing major, just a racing incident. Although I did see the incident with Lewy/Kak at the start.

With 3 laps to go and all pitstops done I was still in 3rd but then made a spin and Lewy and Joy got by putting me in 5th.

I had too many spins but only 2 penalty's. Overall a decent finish considering my pace was very slow, but I did enjoy it. 👍

I also noticed there was a lot of lag during the second half of the race, happened about 3 times, not sure if anyone else noticed it.

Championship situation:

Shaggy Alonso - 126
Kakundoo - 121

In order to win the Championship, I have to win and get the fastest lap with Shaggy coming 4th or lower. If he comes 3rd, then Shaggy wins because he has the most wins and any higher position than that, Shaggy would win on points.

Unfortunately for me (like with Massa), the only thing I can do is be the fastest person on track, but it will not give me the Driver's title, for that to happen I am going to need to leave it to two other people to get between us...

EDIT: (NOTE: Shaggy Alonso has only finished 4th or below twice in the entire Championship. He came 4th in Indianapolis and 7th in Shanghai.)

Yeah, i've noticed in practice that there is tons of lag at Suzuka. I wonder is it something to do with the fact that it's the longest track in the game (I think) and we had a high turn out?

I didn't notice any lag.

Also, I would just like to add, I just noticed that before we did this race these were the standing for both Championships:

NTSC:
Racecar - 114
Fastduck - 112

PAL:
Shaggy Alonso - 115
Kakundoo - 113

Not only were the two Championships two points apart, if you put them together, it would look like this.

Shaggy - 115
Racecar - 114
Kakundoo - 113
Fastduck - 112

Both PAL drivers have 1 point more than their counterpart in the NTSC Championship. Really weird.
(Nothing to do with PAL racers being better lol, just strange the way it turned out like that)

I think we should check everybody's ping when we are in the lobby. If anybody has an orange or red light that could cause the lag. I have been in rooms before with 11 people and no lag at all.

Although I do think Suzuka and Indy can cause more lag issues then other tracks.

Sure it is :sly:

Hyperthetically speaking if Shaggy was to win the Championship then that would have been achieved by also missing 3 races.

Well as they say, you have to be in it to win it :yuck:

Yeah, but we all know that if you were paid to do it, you would finish the season with full points in every race. Your absence makes it more exciting for us mere mortals :dunce:

Seriously though, I think that's not the right way to look at it. Kakundoo has improved immensely. Initially he was only about 5th fastest driver behind you, me, GT4genius and LewyOs. Now he seems to have caught up with us as proven in Shanghai. I used to be able to beat him without trying but now I really practice with each track just to maintain a couple of tenths advantage to him. He's made me raise my game. And I'm sure if we were to start a new season afresh we would be similarly close, even if we both attended the same amount of races.

Oh yes Kak has improved immensely and still could win the Championship, it's not over until you cross that finish line.

Also Kak gets 10/10 for determination 👍

Thanks guys, that has put a huge smile on my face :D.

Just to say, I have had an amazing time these last 17 weeks, it has been awesome to race everyone and really hope that we can have another Championship just as good and exiting as this one! :D.

Good luck to everyone in the final Grand Prix!

Well that sucked. Got a great start and then at a couple of laps i got hit by the Toyota and lost a lot of time. This was kinda weird, because at T1 with Sureshot, he hit me but he drove very fast then. I guess there was a lag bubble, cuz i felt somone hitting me. Up to Inter:D

Nevermind that, I've just realised, we are now the Official Constructor's Champions! Well done teamie 👍👍👍

Hemi- Can you host again? I am around, but first night of my Race Pro WTCC league and I'll be cutting it close making it tonight, but I'll be there. :)

Been running 1:33.8s pretty consistently, hopefully I can run a clean race.

Yes I can host :)

I may as well say goodbye to this damn championship. My remote picks the perfect time to mess up...while I'm leading!:grumpy: While last week's debacle was all my fault, the duelshock killed my chances of gaining any points. I might as well say congrats to duck and his team williams for their damn championships because its over. Rain, Interlagos, bad news. I may as well not even show up for next week:indiff:

Oh and here's the last onboard of the season:

It was good while it lasted, now its useless so bye bye, congrats to the champs.

Fast Lap - 1:31.4xx - HEMIata

In morning warm up I had posted a 1:30.983 so I knew I was on my game - no pun intended :sly: I love this track :dopey:

I managed to screw up the 3rd sector on my final hot lap in Q3 so I knew I didn't have pole but starting P2 actually became my advantage :D

At the start I got a good launch and had position on ZERODUCK in T1 and got to lead lap one 👍 On the second lap I screwed up the second part of Degner (turns 9 & 10) this allowed RACECAR to get inside of me but I had the inside going into the Hairpin, not a good place to be side by side :scared: we touched wheels but both of us managed to get by unharmed 👍 I nailed the brakes hard and gave him the position. Then I ran wide in Spoon and ZERODUCK got by me :grumpy: I followed for a lap then RACECAR had "electronics issues" and suddenly dropped back about 10 seconds  Next lap ZERODUCK runs wide in Spoon and I get back by him  over the next few laps ZERODUCK and I had a good battle, the best I've had since I've join this league..........and it was for the win  We pitted the same lap and continued the battle over the next couple of laps 👍👍👍 I managed to get a lapper in between us which gave me a breather because I was watching my mirrors more than the track running off a few times in the process :nervous: Now with clear track I was able to just hit my marks and put down the fast lap :P I would like to thank CAMikaze for letting me lap him without any issues as well as ZERODUCK for the good clean racing, cheers

Well i had a good qualifing lap and got POLE so that got me 1 point. Then when race started i had a missed shift so i got a slow start, i saw HEMI got a pretty good start and had the inside so i let him have first corner then i drifted a little wide and RACECAR got on my inside and kinda bumped me off track but i hung on to it and got it back on the track and took off after him and HEMI, i caught them pretty quick , and was trying to worry RACECAR trying to make him watch me instead off the track , but he was driving a good race and got by HEMI, at that point i thought i might be in trouble, but i knew i was alot faster than him,so i stayed with my plan for the race, then RACECARhad a electronic malfunction which allowed me to take the lead, then i made a small mistake and HEMI got on my inside so i eased off and let him take the lead and decided to just draft with him so we could get away from the rest of the field. That plan worked pretty welll until i almost made a BIG MISTAKE when i caught the curb and slid sideways but stayed on the track and got going pretty quick and only lost a little time to HEMI but i lost HEMI'S draft and new i couldn't catch him unless he made a mistake but this is our second tournament together and i know how well he can DRIVE so i just made sure i didn't make any more mistakes as i knew i had the points lead at that point. CONGRATULATIONS TO Mr HEMI on a great win. Also would like to say thanks to CAMikaze for moving over and giving me plenty of room when i was lapping him THANK YOU for great sportsmanship. On to another track that i love to race and i am pretty quick there also so with the rain all i can say is QUACK QUACK im ready for this one, i have already put in about 70 laps in the rain there this week . Im ready to race now.

Congratulations to Jordan for winning the Championship!

Maybe next year I can have a consistent partner so that I can fight for the Constructors too!
Anyways, come on Mr.Happy, let's practice and try for a 1-2 Brawn finish at the final race! :D

What is a good lap time at brazil in light rain? I just got a 1,17,2. Out laps are 4seconds faster

My best time so far this week at Brazil in light rain has been a 1.12.368 but i can run pretty consistent 1.13s so i feel pretty good about my chances here .
