Both of these cars are over the HP to kg ratio limit of .5. The RX-7 is .53 and the Amuse is .56. Sach you can use the car, but you have to make sure the one you use doesn't have the parts equipped to push it over the limit (at 1051 kg your HP limit would be 525 also remember that a new car is going to gain horsepower after a couple hundred miles and an oil change. If you look earlier in the thread, I was reviewing whether to put it in class 2 or class 3 due to its high output with little weight. Since output is being capped in relation to weight the rotary engine cars will be placed into class 2. Jav you should look for a new one.
There are no restrictions on tires, most I'm sure will use racing soft.
You have to pass the Top Gear special events to have it in practice or arcade, so until you do so you need to be online.
Also races will be held at 10 PM Central US time (-6:00 GMT), and I may put up a practice session tomorrow night at 10.
That sucks. I have tried that stupid Sambabus race at least 50 times and it seems like every time I get disqualified on the last corner (even though I don't think I am cutting it any more than I do on the first lap). I got so frustrated, that I haven't even tried the Intermediate or Pro level. Should make for an interesting exhibition race for me. I guess I better get online and practice some tonight.

It's an exhibition for an expensive prize car, more about survival, but I think I'll shorten it to 30 laps.

Yeah, I wouldn't put a points race there. Make sure to post your car by 9:45 Friday if you wish to participate in the exhibition race, if you're down for two cars, pick one and list power and weight numbers!

That car is good, just under 3000cc and fairly light. Just make sure the HP/weight is within the rules.

Ohh man!! I gotta start looking for another car... The R1 is going to be way underpowered... Is the Evo 9 or 10 taken?

Ya same mechanics but is a separate model and they are counted as separate cars. I think it will still be much slower than the gtr's and all other 4wds.

No Evo's are taken, RX-8 will be Class 2
Yes you can use that car, just be sure to adhere to the rules with it.
For all: Remember your car can not have parts installed that can put it's horsepower at a number higher than half its weight in kilograms, even if you didn't use the parts, there is no way to know whether or not they were used, and they will be assumed to be used resulting in disqualification.

I don't know of an '09 in the game, there is a 2010 model in but I'm using it, the wagon is fine as is the 22b.

Hopefully, I will be able to make it tonight. If not, I am still planning to run in the series when I can.
I am not at my PS3 right now, but I think my Civic is at 392HP and 888Kg. I will verify when I get home from work tonight. It may have a couple of more HP to add as it reaches the max from break in, but that definitely won't take me over the 0.5 limit.

Sounds good, I was running the 135i in practice tonight, and ran some good lap times after a little suspension tuning. That should be a very competitive car.
They tend to gain about 10 HP after break in, so as long as the figures posted aren't close enough to go over the limit there should be no problems. As far as tonight it's just an exhibition to get used to racing everybody, and challenge how long you can make your tires last and not damage your car.
