So that potted plant one gives me a weird sense of vertigo, I can only assume because of the shallow DoF and the strong lines in the background. The contrast might be just right too. Either way, keep scrolling back up to look at it more.

Kind of nice to see wide-angle work without the smearing again.

Almost like the frame is falling in two different directions with a sense of travel in it?

Hum... You mean the vignetting on the shots with the 15/4.5, right?

I actually like the effect and tend to leave it that way, but your comment is making me think that I should cancel out the effect more in future shots.

More like the effect from a slightly dragged exposure on a train or metro.

From what I understand, and have seen, there is some coloring smearing towards the edges because of the extreme angle of light from the rear element? It isn't something that I find objectionable, just nice to see brighter/clearer corners in a wide angle shot here and there.

At this rate I'm going to have to pick up the Heliar III 15mm for travel next year...
As you're probably aware, Voigtländer will be launching their ultra wides in FE mount, including the new 10mm. 👍

This is actually news to me. Interesting. Having all the electronic stuff and info would be nice, but being able to use my EOS M as a back up for Leica M Mount lenses is also nice.

And I'm not even sure what I'd do with a with a 10mm lens besides take pictures of my feet on accident.

I've tried Canon's 11-24 L (mounted to a 5DSr) before, all I remember doing with it was run around with the camera to my eye pretending I was playing an FPS with the FOV slider drawn out to the max. 10/11mm is definitely a novel focal length for me.

I feel with the 10mm on something with IBIS, you could achieve some interesting urban work with near 1 second hand held exposures. Maybe some festival work (so tired of fisheye lenses in that domain), and some neat somethings... maybe I'll just get my 8mm out and defish it for a bit?

@35mm - I've been meaning to ask if you sell prints of your work.

Short answer: no.

I've never met anyone interested in buying a print - any print, let alone from me. So, the thought of selling a print is weird to me and I wouldn't even know how to do it (meaning prices and logistics).

But I'd be happy to do it, of course.
