Tried blender and I'm a bit clueless Time for self education via youtube
I think it's usually 24 fps for 3d stuff as well, this is from Animating a Blockbuster: How Pixar Built Toy Story 3.Sorry a bit off topic. What "frames per second" do most 3d animation studios use in their films? I know 24fps is mostly used for 2d but what about 3d?
Thank you. So do you think they also use 24fps for motion capture? I thought they're doing up to 60fps.I think it's usually 24 fps for 3d stuff as well, this is from Animating a Blockbuster: How Pixar Built Toy Story 3.
"...The average frame (a movie has 24 frames per second) takes about seven hours to render, although some can take nearly 39 hours of computing time. The Pixar building houses two massive render farms, each of which contains hundreds of servers running 24 hours a day."

The lip came out on accident. Don't know what I did though.I couldn't help but notice the shading on the bottom of the cup in the 3rd render which is probably caused by some high valence vertices, I like the little lip on the top of the cup.
Uh... no. Why?Ameer, did you post that on 4chan yesterday?
Uh... no. Why?
On the 3DCG board there was a post with an incredibly similar cup (upon closer inspection the cups were slightly different) with the same lighting and coloured floor. Strange coincident I suppose.
The dust and wheel motion blur was added in post, but everything else is from the render.I love the rally version and the little details like the wiped mud on the windscreen and the motion blurred wheels, how did you create the clouds of mud and dust? All you need to do is stick a Subaru badge on there and a DIRT logo and you've got promo work for the next DIRT game.
I got one of those too as of about 4 weeks agoNice Subaru! Now we just need 3D printers that can do engine blocks...
I'll pose it a bit before rendering, I was looking at Ninja style footwear and I kept seeing something like that but the proportions look off a little bit and good point on the sleeves.
