Sign me up for the North America race.

I may joing during qualifying if that is okay. You can put my name, Scott.
And the car is Silver Chrome with Silver Chrome wheels. The 500 lover in the family picked that one.

Welcome, Scott, nice to have you! 👍 I added you above.

Ealy, I'll leave you off for now, but let me know iff your chances go up. ;)

Was it just me or did it take forever for me to finally spin out?

I watched the replay to see what happened, and that was a real tank slapper.

And I owe you thanks for not being too anxious with your recovery. I did take the inside, but just as you were working to get your car righted. If you had just hammered down, it would have been ugly.

My setup was definitely designed to keep the car pointed in the right direction. A little bit of lift off oversteer, but very controllable. It would push a bit on worn tires, but I would take that over the spins you and Speedy had anyday.

Without those spins, I finish 2 spots lower. ;)

I pimped my 500 a bit...
extra large tyres for traction :sly:

Yeah used photoshop to pimp it but not to resize it.
I just took enlarge x2 in the photomode of GT5. It's 3840x2160

I like to sign up for the Fiat Sprint Race.👍

The car is Epoch White with Lime Green Metallic wheels.:)

💡 I think the 3D3 guys should also vote on a "Best in Show" award for the driver with the best Car Color/Wheel Style/Wheel Color/Aero Package combination in each race. Or let the race participants vote, with a rule that they have to vote, but can't vote for themselves.

By each race I assume you mean one "award" for the EU and one for the NA events. Also, by 3D3 "guys" do you mean all the drivers or just the 3 stooges stewards?

Kevin, you picked purple (like me), so you have the inside track on one vote -- assuming we are not eligible to vote for ourselves.

EDIT: Forget it, we already have a winner..... the newest registry member.... GTP_Wow:

Yeah, one for each event. I have to assume everyone is going to use the same car in each race. ;)

I just think it's great how people are using their creativity to do something different with these cars. It was one of the things that made the event really appealing to me, that you could do so much to pimp out these cars, some of it really funny.

Just a "for fun" thing, but why not, on a week like this. :)

BTW : You MIGHT notice a consistent theme for me in picking Plum Crazy with Black wheels on these weeks. :sly:

Would the submission be from the worked over J-peg like in my clown car or would it be a paint chip complimentary colors w/ airo and pimp rims competition?

OK... The points over the four sprints accumulate to eventually determine our overall finish for the event as a whole. Now it would be nice if a drivers knew exactly where they stand between events. We have only three minutes for the update between events, but google docs to the rescue. I plan to update the following between each event and it should only take about 30-60 seconds so if you have access to a computer during the race this will work.

Let me know if you guys can see this link:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...Tzk3cmswdFdjVEE&single=true&gid=0&output=html

If you load that link before the event and then refresh the page after each heat you'll know exactly where you stand going into the next sprint.

Of course the data in there now is just test data, but also gives you a better idea how the scoring will work. The sheet will highlight 1-3 for each event in the same colors used by the WRS leader board.

Note on scoring: In the event of a points total tie, finish order will be determined by the top finish from any event. So if your best finish in the events is 2nd you'll own the tie breaker versus someone who has a best finish of 4th. If the top finish is equal, move on to 2nd best finish and so on. If all 4 finishes are the same... well then you really are tied!

EDIT: I will also read off the current ranking and points over the mic between each event after it's updated for those without access to the internet or computer during the event.

Good to see I'm doing so well already.:P

^^ Look! A matchbox car!

NO... Kevin and I got distracted by GTP_WOW. :sly:

Yeah, the going's a lot slower when you go through every turn 3 wide. :dopey:

No, not off of photos, but whatever you show up to the race with.

Was hoping someone would use the wing style aero on the back. :P

I plan to, but was hoping nobody else would. :D (shhhhh)

That's due to my flux capacitor, allowing me to go and do races 3 and 4 alone, ahead of time. :dopey:

Or maybe I'm just not gawking at GTP_Wow like the rest o' y'all. Blondes don't really do much for me. :-/

The Silver Bullet has arrived in Japan, unloaded off the plane, and is checking out the sites of Japan before heading to Tsukuba. Don't get in it's way!

Me neither, but I am considering changing my stance, seeing as she has great taste in cars :D.
But by Thursday next week, Fiat 500's will suck again, and I'll go back to brunettes, unless my flux capacitor tells me otherwise :P

Nice :D I had painted mine chrome too, but didn't check the thread :(
Can't play favourites, so I'm going with awful orange.

I'm willing to concede the color to you, I can choose from one of the DLC chromes or color shifts.

Nope, first post gets it, so it's all yours 👍
I'll just keep referring to you as "McTerminator" during the race

Oh we're bringing out the DLC colors?
There's some neat ones, I'll have to try and save mine though, probably end up never using most so they're not gone.:(

Pseudo dup them. Save game. Paint car with Dlc color. Gift car. Restore game from before paint. Next day gift car back.

You can't have two chips but you can reuse on giftable car as much as you want.
