I think I might have to see how my laptop compares.

Any ideas how well an AMD E-450 APU w/ Radeon HD6310 would fare?

Only one way to find out Korza. Run it.
Honestly I have no idea. Just that the word laptop scares me a bit.

Cheers Shaun.

Nice run! 15k should easily be in your grasp with a little OC on the CPU.

Thanks. Yeah I'll wait until I get my other parts an see what it'll do, then I might push it a bit an see what it can really get.

How'd I forget about this? :odd:

I'll do a fresh run tomorrow. And, 3570K, Brad. K. :P

And that score, ShaZZa. Makes me jelly.

I'll guess a better cooling soloution, hence the no overclock.
Anyway great run ShaZZa, up the cards and cpu should see some great results. 👍

Cheers Shaun

Thanks for the replies 👍

Well not really, already have a corsair H80 water cooler on the system :)

:P

I ran it at my current 4.5, whereas the 10143 was ran at 4.6. I think I'll try for a quick 4.7!

EDIT: No go. Can't be bothered with tweaking at the moment.

I wish I had an excuse to buy new hardware and push higher numbers, but the two 480's and i7 950 are still getting it done. I'm surprised more people aren't over 10k on all the new hardware by now.

A really cool feature with this board, that I wish all boards had, is the ability to disable individual DIMMS and PCI slots. This is a great feature for trouble shooting bad ram or even bad graphics cards. This is especially helpful with you are water cooling. Being able to disable a card without having to re-plumb your system is a handy feature. Dual Sockets are nice to. :)

That is a really neat feature. I don't think I've seen that anywhere else before.

The Xeon CPUs for that socket type are freaking expensive though. Like... damn.

Yep. The processors I was looking at were just over $500 each. Mobo, Ram, CPU's will put me just over 2K. Doesn't even included graphics, hard drives, or water blocks. Hmmmm..... Maybe after I sell my first born. LOL

Nice board Pako, can I feel there a hint of quad SLI ?? :D
But PCIe lane disable feature and an manual voltage access points had already my Rampage III extreme, very useful indeed.

4way? Ummm.... Maybe.... :D My Rampage II board did not have the disable PCI lane feature. It was a pain when I was trouble shooting my 3xGTX280's on water. I couldn't tell which card was causing my pain. A couple dip switches would have saved me hours of troubleshooting time for sure! :)

Twin 3970X processors. Alas only Xeons support multi-CPU configurations

Quad-cores aren't that bad. Get into the 8-core processors and prices jump up quite a bit, like 2k each. Yikes. Third quarter and expect to see 10-core Xeon's or even 12-core E5's coming down the pipe.

MMMmmmm......
