Great work Noway. And in this race a 'nudge' is fine.

By the way, what time did you get in the Viper? I'm still around 1:49.5 I think.

I've tested a few cars at Deep Forest and found Mini Cooper '02 and Fiat punto HGT Abarth to perform relatively well in the 33x pp range.

And then this , a Civic from UCD with over 90k km on the odometer.

2,751,320 Cr. (110%)
pda 2,344,320

267696 exp. (110%)
pda 228096

laps
1'39.033
1'37.014
1'36.359

total 4'52.406

Not the cleanest run , but it'll do for now as the goal is to go for the lowest possible pp.

Yessssssss, The most difficult part of the race. Good to see what a better level of driver(MadMaxx. etc) then me can do. As I believe the top drivers can prob cut 1-2 secs per lap...of course the overtaking is very crucial here.

Btw you are banned from pp events!

Dalone, you and me back to the drawing board

I'm done with this one Noway now that the new Seasonal is out. Two weeks is long enough for me to post my best time.

Full marks of course to MadMax for his super low PP, but I wish he had done so before the new one came out, but with the new one now plus the current TT I won't be going back to it.

Yea , sorry about that.

I was running this event since it was released with the Mini Cooper '02 & testing other cars aswell.
But since I never got that Fiat grid I didn't bother to write here my 333pp 4'56 results.

Moving on to FR seasonals now , I'll assume Laguna Seca or Rome will be the next scene of battle for the lowest pp.

i used honda integra type R (DC5) '03 237cv,average time 45.000 and best lap about 44.800

I used this Honda Integra Touring car that is pretty standard & beat this Renault Megane IDE easily on the Autumn Ring Mini.

I find Grand Valley East really difficult. Tried with many cars all failed... all the road going Honda Civic & Integra Type R. Until I tried with the Trial Toyota Celica. It's really fast & accomplished. I beat the competition just after the 3rd round.

This came down to cycling the lineup to get either the Fiat or Megane IDE on pole. Integra and Civics just too far ahead. Prius TC was the one for Autumn Hill, really need to keep a tight inside line and cut the corners. Mini '11 won two, Civic 08 one, Gathers Drider one.

Sorry @giopilota, the Megane IDE and Fiat are 12-16 seconds slower than other cars for the 7 laps.

For grinding yes, use a low -mid 300 PP car at Autumn Hill and win millions of credits and six figure XP even finishing 9th or 10th.

Am new to this but am finding the Autumn Ring event pretty impossible.
I reckon they made a boob in the programming and it should be 8 laps as you simply cant get close enough to the leader with a lap to go to stand a chance

Its a truly hideous track at the best of times, let alone on comfort tyres with fwd and a pad, you simply cant get it stopped, turned uick enough and are nearly stopping in the endless tight corners to get it to turn in.

Managed to win the other events after pretty one go, Deep Forest was tricky but only coz AI stops pretty much on last bend and you can carry maybe 20mph more thrugh there and you ram them.

Am using a Mini on 430, tried a Mk1 Golf with 170hp, fully lightnened but it just isn't power ful eneogh and despite all the goodies simply cant get into turns on comforts.

Bit of a shame they have decided to do this Autumn Ring thing, almost like they are saying "we are going to make a level ehre that only a tiny percentage of people can achieve

But then, this is the company that forces you to complete endless 24 hour endurance races to complete the game!

Interesting experiment tonight

Was using a Mini Cooper s that was on 430pp, had 208bhp, weighed 1060K

Couldn't get first after about 10 attempts

Bought a Civic Type R, again 430pp after some tuning work but weighed 1120 k and had 230hp

Won first time, this is al about power, not about power to weight, I have had my suspicions for some time, but this proves it, in cars with equal pp, the car with the most power will prevail, power to weight counts for little

@chunder27 you need to be able to do 45 second laps and have the Fiat on pole. The Megane IDE may be a little faster. Cut those esses like crazy and bump and bash the AI cars out of the way dive bombing on the inside.

Managed to do all but the Grand Valley one in the Mini Cooper '11... I got the Fiat on the first try at Autumn Ring and was able to win.

Grand Valley is just proving absurd. I might just break out the Prius TC and go for broke.

Just started this event a few days ago, and still stuck at the Autum ring. I want to beat this first before attempting the other tracks.
Sofar the fastest car i drive is the Integra Type R (DC5) '04 with wich i drive around a 5:20:6xx race time. Lap times in the 1:45's.

After just completing the 380PP NR-A Roadster Cup this is next absolute pain in the neck race event.

Edit: Typical, first race after this post i won it.

I was lucky enough to get the Fiat Coupe Turbo, and Tiburon GT in first. I made 1st place in the 6th lap and finished in 05:20:060 while the number two, the Fiat did it in 05:28:xx

Yeah till today I was struggling to win Autumn Ring! Tried Alfa GTA 02 fully tuned as suggested in previous post but the best place I got was 2nd! Then I lightly tuned TRD Celica and was able to beat the Megane Sport '08! Try to find this car at the top, it will be an easier win! Now will try Grand Valley!

Autumn Ring Mini gave me fits with the '87 and '98 Civic race cars. I used a tuned Focus ST to finally beat it. The Grand Valley East event took me quite a few tries to finally win with that car, too. I hope the others will be easier. (Using a DS3 with all aids off, ABS 1)

Gotta be honest I won the others first time no problem at all, but Auturm Ring was near impossible until I used to Civic, then power told.

All about the car you use, not about PP

This FF challenge reminds me of some of those crazy max point races in GT4. Cape ring was like old times, bang'n and ride'n the other cars in the corners. The last turn tended to be a Full speed ram to take the lead (for me anyway). Never could catch the rabbit without this technique on the Cape.

Tuscona embodies the best of GT5 and the seems to present the best possibilities for lower PP. This track was the most fun for me as well.

Overall this was a tuff challenge! Thanks PD.

Yeah. Autumn ring is making me nuts... Consistent 45.2s and still 2 seconds down... Just not sure where I'm losing time, but I'm absolutely sure where I'm losing my mind... This track is world class frustrating!

.

LOL. Took advice from the board and tried a detuned Integra racecar... Ran the exact same lap times as my Eclipse, and my Civic, and my Integra, and my Scirocco, and my EG Hatch, and my Celica... Only now instead of coming in 2nd I came in 5th... This is utter BS.

.

OMG... Finally checked and found that my SRF was turned off... Turned it on and reran in the Integra LM. My 45s dropped to 42s, I won by ten seconds and lapped the 10-12 place cars... ::Facepalm::

Mini Marcos with extreme oversteer tune at Autumn ring. 8 seconds from win, but a funny ride! 3rd gear almost all the way around track, engine revving like a little terrier :D
the Citreon xsara rally car 99 won every race easy 1st and 5th races,a bit tight, but the xsara pissed it....🏁🏁🏁
