There are game studios/publishers that give the gamer an avenue to address problems such as this using Twitter, e-mail and even 800 numbers.

I have no idea why PD doesn't do this, but I'm getting pretty tired of seeing videos of rock-star Kaz racing and going to car shows all over the globe instead of getting this game working.

Kaz, you're not a rock-star, you're a game developer, now finish the game you've been working on forever.

Kaz: Just wait for GT6!! It's going to be awesome! :sly:

Plugged up my DFGT for the first time in about a month. Joined a 500pp lobby. LFA , NSX, NSX, 86 GT, 86 GT, Civic. Signed out of my GT5 account and played Skyrim.

I got the fastest internet time warner offers in my area, 30down/5up but now my PS3 won't stay logged into PSN :yuck:

Aside from the Lemons series and maybe some impromptu racing, I think i'm going to stay offline until the next update. Whether it's PSN or PD, the system is seriously ****ed.

It must be how it is interacting with certain setups. I personally haven't had any problems.

Well, haven't had any more problems than usual.

I hope to be online tonight for anyone that wants to. I really wouldn't mind a theme if anyone has something they want to do. We could do FF hatches, or wagons, or sedans. I really wouldn't mind doing something like Grand Tourers or V8 Coupés (though at 500 to 550 PP), or 2 Liters, or Nissan only, or 90s JDM.

Ehh I'll be online, I just won't plan my evening around it working. I might create a new account and work my way through a-spec again.

Any interest in Grand Tourers: 600 HP, 1600 Kg, SM or SS tires. Should it be limited to FR, or are MR and AWD okay?

It is probably a bit much, but there are such big beautiful cars and I'd like to drive them.

Fwiw I liked the muscle-car no abs enduro last week.

Too bad everything sucks now.

GT5 froze on me the other day. I went in to check on which stage engine tuning my lemon beetle had. Go to shut off GT5, it hangs and then about 5 seconds later, takes down my PS3.

hmm.. grand touring races seem fun, actually. I have a good deal of cars ready to run this. Maserati, Aston, Jaguar, etc.

GTs are like muscle cars, but with real suspensions. You might be able to take a Camaro or a Corvette if you want.

I am not a big fan of the whole ironman-no-ABS thing. I suck, why make that more obvious. I also don't mind allowing TCS. I suck, but the two times I've tested, I'm faster without it. Why should I mind if someone else uses it. Hopefully it keeps them from crashing. Possibly into me.

PS: I'll start a room in a few.

PPS: 600 HP might be a bit much. If you want, I can cut that back a bit. It will mean the 599 needs to run a limiter.

That was a reply to Huyler. I already knew what a GT is.

That was fun. That was intense. Lots of very pretty cars, that sounded very nice.

We had a couple pubbers come into the room, but they never entered the course. I think they simply didn't have any cars that heavy.

After I left the room, I dropped the extra 80 Kg from my V12 Vantage. With 602 HP and 1600 Kg:

Ferrari 599 '06 is 542 PP.
Aston Martin DB9 Coupé '06 is 552 PP.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage '10 is 549 PP.

No idea if using HP/Weight is better than using PP. I didn't really do a lot of side-by-side comparison. I did think the 599 was easier to drive. The DB9 did fly, but for some reason I liked the Vantage better. Maybe because I had to put an exhaust kit on it and it sounded fantastic. Maybe because the brakes were better.

There were other cars that I wanted to build out, but I didn't want to spend all evening doing that. I'll have to do that for next time.

I usually run a lot of different ranges of power/weight and Grand Touring cars are definitely up there in fun-factor. If feels great throwing the weight around the corners.

Were you having problems last night connecting? We saw you enter the room once, but never saw you get on track?

I will definitely have to do that again.
