The MR cars are fast at Tsukuba but are very twitchy when people touch your rear quarter exiting the hairpins. My 86 MR2 has the same issue, and that's the primary reason I built something different for that track instead of running my 97 MR2.

Dually noted. I plan on spending some time building a few cars to fit your requirements.....I plan on building another NSX as mine didn't perform as I liked since I already had modded it out and then I just dumbed it down to make it 450PP. A nice FWD coupe would probably be useful on Tsukuba as well. I am still making up my mind as to what I will bring to the Nurburgring tonight.

the nice thing about the ring is that it's such a long a varied track that different types of cars can be competitive and will hold an advantage over the others in different sections. however, to get into the PP limit, you will propably want something that doesn't sacrifice too much hp by being super light as people will blow by you on the straights (same for aerodynamic parts) - just my opinion.

You know you can add and remove parts once they are purchased right? The only exception being weight reduction stages and engine tuning stages. Everything else can be removed from the lobby if you want to experiment with different performance parts.

Very true. I can run circles around people in my Garayia through the first few sectors...but even if I pull a 4 or 5 second lead I can lose the race on the final straight.

Just read the first post so excuse my ignorance in the previous one. I'll try to get in on this tonight if the room isn't full!

Yup, send a friend request to osprey73 for tonight's lobby. Do not join my lobby as I will be hosting a different event.

take it from someone that owns a Tacoma that obliterates our Z4s, NSXs, RX-7s and everything we've driven in the Ring....... :odd:

I'm actually up to 5 Tacomas now. Different colour for different PPs.

Orange = Fast. Be afraid of Orange in other rooms. ;)

The Taco can be competitive on the Ring - it does have sheer power and I've tuned the suspension well enough for the ring - although on other tracks it lags. Being shaped like a brick hurts it on the straights though.

Being shaped like a brick also helps it take up a lot of road that would be used for passing you

^^Thanks for the tip chuyler1. Will do when I'm home later.

Fingers crossed that the network is up and running again by tonight!

lol, i can pull out the Ram if you'd like.

LOL! i think Osprey just use it for intimidation!
the first time i saw it in my rear view mirror creeping on my RX-7, i lost my concentration and just sat there :boggled: being passed by a truck in the the straights......... couldnt regain my composure for a while...... tonight i wont be intimidated!!!!

i think that yestardy was one of the worst night ever. my style is aggressive and i always try to find a way for the most spectacular pass, but some of the "new guys" are really crazy! and most important they never give back the position like i do if i go long and touch somebody. i think that the host should pay attention to the behaviour of the "new"

I'll see if I have anything for that stupid taco tonight. Probably won't but oh well.

It was NA tuned to stage 3, so I had to put a huge handicap on the engine to make it eligible.

Your pass attempts on the last lap of Suzuka in my video a few pages back were a bit risky. I'd never attempt an outside pass on those turns but i tried to give you as much room as i could without getting a penalty myself.

If you have issues with other drivers just let me know. I save most of the replays so i can investigate and right any wrongs. I'm not looking to ban anyone but a few pointers on clean racing make the room fun for everyone. If you remeber a few months ago i put some of my risky passes up for discussion and i think i have improved since then.
