Leadbedr has a new room up

Did anything ever come of this? I spent about 50-60 minutes of waiting/free run for about 60 seconds of racing then quitting when people froze at the start, thinking everyone would quit and we would restart.

After the glitching went away in new room, racing got pretty exciting. Darn Canadians, they were too fast, so I just proceeded too block the crap out of the taco. Works well for a little while. :P

I'm not sure what happened in the 1st room, something got screwed up. The were parts of the track missing for me and when I tried to exit and come back on the track all I got was black screen. Then I left and couldn't get back in.. either the room was full and it looked like there were some issues with my ISP at the same time too.

The 1st few races in the 1st room were good and when we moved to the 2nd things were fun.

interesting race last night, a little bumping here and there, freezing, but overall a clean race! 👍
my Z4 is a blast to drive but couldnt keep up with the rest of you guys. Thats my story for the rest of the night. :(

I had a great time last night, though after the first race my network connection bugged out and then the room was full till around 1130 when I got back in. I tried to drive cautiously especially since I'm new here but I did bump a few people more than I intended too. I hope nobody got a negative impression from my involvement and I look forward to joining in the fun again!

Tonight's theme is a tour of the streets of Europe! We will start in London and make our way to Italy! Pack your family up in a sporty 4-door sedan and tour the cities in style.

Euro Sedan Night -- 450pp, 4 doors (midsized sedan), FR/FF drivetrain only
Tracks: London, Madrid, Monaco, Rome

Schedule for next week is in the OP but here are the highlights...

Sunday we will pull out some antiques. Pre 1975 lightweight classics. 1000kg maximum weight so leave your muscle cars in the garage and try some of those whacky japanese cars. Do some recon to see if you can get your preferred car to 450pp. If not, we can drop it to 400-425pp.

Monday we'll run modern muscle cars again.

Tuesdaywe'll do rally night again. We did this with muscle cars the last time but this time it is open to any car. I will allow actual rally cars if you can get them down to 450pp. Make sure you install both dirt and snow tires. I may need a volunteer to open the room. It's my wife's birthday and I'm not sure if we are celebrating it that night or on the weekend.

Wednesday is ring night as always. Esoxhntr will provide a specific theme if there is one.

Thursday is going to be "Same Make Night". To kick things off, I have chosen a car I don't think I've seen anyone use on the track. The Delta HF Integrale from the premium car dealer should mix things up a bit. Add your preferred mods to get it to 450pp and tune the car for fast laps at Deep Forest Reverse. Don't forget to paint it and add slick wheels! The first race kicks off at 10:00PM and the winner will get to choose the "same make" car for the next week. After DFR, we'll use lobby vote to pick other tracks.

I am excited for all those! I gotta get some tuning done though.

Also, maybe you should make a requirement that all 'single make' candidates must be premium, so that we can all buy one without cycling the UCD.

I need to earn some credits in single player to keep up with all these themes. Been hovering around 60k for a few weeks now...can't stand playing this game by myself

Yes. We will stick to premium cars to start and maybe venture into reward cars that are easy to obtain if we get bored with the premium selection.

That reminds me, I think people have been running my b-spec drivers and I should have some cash to collect.

Oh, and if you are having trouble finding a european sedan, any sedan is fine tonight. I just realized there aren't really any premium european sedans in the 450 range.

Get ready to have the Legacy dominate everything.

Edit : Ignore me, I can't read. It's FF/FR only.

Oops, missed that FR/FF part. Was gonna run an S4. :dunce:

Yeah, the first make I thought of was Audi, then I realized everything was AWD. :ouch: I have an Altezza that might do the trick, but its not European. I am curious what people are planning on using, if you don't mind telling. I didn't see anything in the NCD that satisfied 4door, FF/FR, ANDEuropean.:nervous:

Sedan = 4 doors and a trunk that hinges below the rear window.

No hatchbacks, vans, station wagons, trucks, or coupes.

actually, full sized is fine...but no compacts.

I know you've requested family night...but trust me, the volvo is a piece of junk. I don't even think you can get it up to 450pp. I really can't come up with a theme that will make it competitive. If we do "wagons" only, the subarus blow away all other competition.

there really arent very many premiums that I can think off that are 2 wheel drive 4-door sedans. The M5, a couple of Mercedes and the 4-door skyline although it may be awd either way you'd have to de-tune them considerably. I don't know my FF cars though.

UCD is another ball game.

Since you weren't there last night your statement about thinking you had never seen anyone use a Delta HF Integrale could very well be true. However, as evidenced by RotaryFreak's photos from last night, I rocked the Delta for three or four races until I could no longer stand it's lack of straight line speed.

In the first photo I am the second to last car on the grid and in the second photo I am the last car in the shot. Look at that black-hooded cumshot shine! :dopey:

okay fair enough chuyler. sedans it is! :)

Looking forward to pre-70's night. I was running laps of the ring the other night with my mate in a HT 2000GT-R '70 which was quite fun. That was stock at 380pp, and while it would be possible to get it up to 450pp, I think keeping it at 450pp would mean that a lot of cars in the pre-70 class would get ruled out.

My vote would be 400pp or less.

I saw the DELTA last night as well, but for some reason I thought it was leadbedr driving it lol
