1m28.7 around Madrid in a 3 lap run. Best sectors would have produced a 1m28.4, not a Muira beater, but fun, fast and sounds furious going into the hairpin,

Love this car

Edit: Good for gold :) 1.31.044 with a conservative lap.

Thanks, @shaunm80 for this great tune for a great car. Got gold on my second lap.

Glad I got an excuse to buy the Miura. Unfortunately my 7 year old son decided to "improve" it. I'm too embarrassed to post a picture of it, but suffice to say a large rear spoiler features prominently...

He has been disowned for the foreseeable future...

For once, a car I payed with my blood can be usefull... so I tried this, still more interesting than the Joke LM who haven't finished Le Mans IRL

The tune is quite simple but it looks good:

At the begining I had oil change but at the end I used it so the car must be just out of the box, no rigidity either, original brakes, just the common stuff (LSD, GB, clutch...) .
Just use the restrictor to reach 500PP (90.9% without oil change).

No wing, cuz it's ugly :P

(Woops, the car is the Miura by the way )

Oh no! @WhoosierGirl put a big wing on her Miura too... But, at least she didn't paint it pink like most of her cars! :sly: I can't even yell at her for putting the wing on that classic Lamborghini because she could put a pile of cinder blocks on the back of that car and she'd still run circles around me on any track in GT6...so, I just let it slide!! :D Miss ya girl!!  👍

decided to splash out and buy myself a Muira, but like a kid in a candy store got distracted and blew my cash on a 512B (good for 1m31.3) and another 3 motors.
Went back to the Dino and fiddled with the LSD. Not using any science reduced all parameters to their minimum values and hey presto. . .

Time to use this bad boy and get me some money

Me too, love this car & your action shot pix. Fit a bigger rim & shot it again so at least looks more macho !

Damn that stings lol
An easy gold tune

Ferrari 512BB '76 (500PP SH)

Good for 1.32-1.34 lap. Can be a little loose and slidy at times but it does help with some of the sharp corners. Not as quick as the Muira but more fun to drive. :)

Very tail slappy indeed. im well off the pace with a 136.2 ,I could probably squeeze another .5 but I've had to add tc to even get this time. It's a perfect drift car with CH if you're into that thing. Practice practice practice . But track isn't consistent at all .Very weird ...

Oh yeah, put a set of CH on this car and it will be a good drift car. I managed a 1.33 or 1.34 with this car I think. Its all about the smoothness through the corners in this car. The Lambo tune is much easier to throw around as it has a lot more rear grip and isn't half as slidey as this car.

I managed to get 1:28.341, with a place of 194th now or a bit lower,

Never thought it would be this easy. I just used the first car in my list, a Ferrari 365 GTB4 '71 @ 496 PP. I'm pretty sure it's stock, except for the wing. Got a nice 1:33.749 at the first try. The track felt not slippery at all. In fact, I had a bit of understeer.

That must be another RX500 tune...

Easy gold with Ferrari 365 GTB4, simply fit SH and drive.
Did just that (chasing a new and improved ghost of 1m28.8 from the Dino) and managed a 1m29.7 after a dozen laps (pretty amazing for myself), though i couldn't get out of the slow corners (my weakness with DS3) and was barely managing 135mph down the straights, the Dino was 10 clicks faster (lighter car ?).
Horses everywhere would be hiding their heads if Enzo knew his babies were getting smashed by a Muira.

Me too, using this rare Ferrari 1:29.8. Hard to perfect the lap, maybe too heavy this car . Give up. :P.

Here is a tip for you guys:
The best power to weight ratio is achieved at 905kg, no more, no less.
With no powerparts installed, and no oil change, that would give you 300bhp, and 3.01kg/bhp

Oh, yeah, I'm speking about the miura.

Edit:
This seems to be true for the RX500 as well, so whichever car you choose, I'd go with exactly 900kg, then maybe lower just a bit to see if the benefit of lower weight is enough to compensate for the lower power to weight ratio, if not, stick with 900kg or just above.
But higher than 910 kg will only make you slower, guaranteed!

Bought one and no oil change however was faster using this tune with a turbo, mid or high. Remembering from yesterday. And my fastest to date (2 days) is 1:28 something, by way of comparison.

edit... 1:27.888 for 159th.

Heck yes -- the RX500. Didn't think of it when I lapped this, used a Stratos 15th Anniv. and was struggling the whole lap. Still it got me gold, so whatever... But I should really retry this with the Mazda (tuned one for Willow Springs just some days ago, thanks to @Bowtie-muscle and thought it could be a nice idea)... I'm so sad about the Stratos' behaviour since I like that car a lot and I always wanted it to be decently drivable...

Enjoying this tt tried the lotus Europa first, then the shelby cobra, and now settled on the gt40. Currently on 1'27.30 think some people went quicker, but switched to the mazda.

First tt for a while but hopefully can hold on for top 100 in the Ford. Couldn't get used to the mazda was too slippy for me, even trying some of the tunes posted. (Think the tunes are good, just I'm not quick in that car)

Finally got around to doing this morning, went crazy and used a Vectra 3.2 from the June Car of the Month Thread. Compliments of @Flaco13 here. Worth a try I think as I had no issues and had the lead before the final lap.

There are others in the thread that might make this interesting as well. Feel free to stop by and check it out.

Lotus Europa! Never thought of it. That could do. Is it hard to tame when tuned?

It's ok, was just the first car that showed up in my garage that met the regulations. To meet the pp I needed the high RPM turbo and I think it adds torque so you get less hp. Can't remember my best time, but maybe around a 1'31. Didn't add a wing or anything but lost a lot of time on the straights due to less power.
Went quicker in the shelby (ac version - think it's called 427..)
The gt40 is definitely my choice, don't have enough money for the lambo!

Don't believe you have to reach the PP, just not exceed it.

Just had another few runs with the Mazda and took off 3 tenths (exactly).
Now at 1:27.588 for pos#111.

1:27.564 for pos#110.
