57.891. Finally was able to crack into the .8s, although at this point I'm not a hundred percent sure if I can catch Honda.

Anyways I made some changes to Kossie's setup over the past few days which have really helped me push myself further.

Went back in out of boredom last night, tweaked my own tune a bit with taller gearing in 1, 2 & 3 gears. Also set my LSD to 5/8/5 and got a 59.9x.

I tried the NSX and a Subie but couldn't go faster than 1.00:80. And they were twice as hard to keep from sliding, especially under braking. DS3.

Try it but this not works for me, Think its a controller problem. One thing help me: Youre gears. But i set the final to 3000.

0:58.886:tup: Maybe i can make a 58.6.

Threw about 50 more laps at this TT last night. Used the gearbox from @fordlaser777 and managed to knock off a little more than a tenth from my best time. Very well suited for the track - feels like it's going to kiss the rev limiter going into the final turn but never does, but also never drops the revs below the usuable power.

Currently sitting at number 587 with a 0:59.872. Probably fiddle with it a touch more before switching fully to the 'Ring, where I think I'm leaving about 20 seconds on the table instead of 2 tenths.

EDIT: Down to a 0:59.822 for 544th two laps after I typed this.

How are people able to achieve 263 bhp bought new car to try again even with oil change only 250 bhp and 795 ballast produces 500 pp.
In relation to the Subaru tune posted unable to find that model.
Can not achieve even silver, now on my third steering wheel due to frustration, any tips greatly appreciated, this is the only seasonal I am unable to Gold.
What on earth was the creator thinking comfort sorts, must remember to go and fit some remolds to my car to practice control

Every single power upgrade, including Stage 3, plus an oil change should get you there. At 263 HP, I'm running 181 kg of ballast at -8. The -8 gets you to 50:50 balance and lets you run 1 kg less than I've seen a few others run. Total weight should be up to 821 kg with this setup. I'm trying to take parts off to make mine 250 HP, and I can't hit that figure. Maybe make sure your power limiter is set to 100? Positive you did the OC on the current car?

I agree that the gold time is frustrating. I kept getting 1:01.1s with a bunch of different cars before I switched to the Gixxer. Also, if we have to look at this car so much, why can't it be a Premium model? Or at least paintable?

I'm with you as far as Doodle's tune is concerned - full respect to him for his ability, as I couldn't manage one complete lap with his tune. The best way I can describe the experience is like walking on tiptoe on a track covered in ball bearings!

I reverted to my modded Kossie tune, added your gear settings, and now feel I have a chance of an improvement in my time. Suits my driving style perfectly.

Tried Doodles tune and moved up to 59.045 will try to get to the 58s but it could take this pensioner more than the three weeks that are left haha.
Excellent tune as usual making me look good again, makes me feel good haha.

I just hate this track.

I rather lap a sub 7 minute lap at the Nurburgring than the awful close to a minute lap at this track.

Never liked this track from the start.

Thanks For the tune Doodle! helped me get into 9th last night. i was stuck at 58.4...once i put your tune on i got 58.2 easily. I can definitely see bunch more time just a matter of putting a full lap together. Thanks man Appreciate it! Great Lap by the way!

You've left this pensioner behind - my best so far is 59.617, and I'd probably take as long as you to improve on that!

Knocked of three tenths just by turning Active Steering on - never used it before, but I didn't notice anything obtrusive. I saw @Kossie used it for his stunning lap, and I've followed his lead a lot on this one since he's so quick with the DS3. 0:59.633 for #398 currently, though I don't think there are many more tenths left in these fingers.

Here my set for fast amateurs over 50.It should allow you

I give this a try tomorrow Don Strachi 👍

I think i can get a 58.6 lap if everthing goes good. I use a controller AT gears and traction controll 3 ABS 1..... I'm think i am happy with my time now. Not more improvement.

If i had a 58.2 i drive my thumps to the ^&** to get a 57 time. But that is not gonna happen.

I know I'm late to the party but here is a get in get it done GSX car.
It's a sub minute if you got the stones other wise a minute all day but thats good for gold.
GSX-R/4 TT
Left foot to control weight, 3rd gear for most turns to keep the tail in check. Lay it out and get your gold.

Has anyone else tried running less weight and less power? I've got my best time (59.2) using @Doodle's settings but with stage 3 weight reduction and 200kg ballast with about 240hp. It's a bit slower on the straights but makes up for it with later braking and being a bit more nimble in the corners.
