Haha lol, how many time trials we had what includes this car and track? Lol
We've had this car and track before, only that was 400pp on comfort hards.

57.920. I was still warming up for tonight's session when I got this. For whatever reason today in particular has been a great day. It's like my self confidence has shot up greatly. Maybe I can cap it off with P1? :)

Edit: Three 57s in a row. It's coming, folks!

Edit2: 57.919. Seriously a .001 improvement? Oh. The servers are under maintenance. I guess we won't be seeing that improvement then

P43..in my beloved 50tees.Boyz i had a great time between 50 and 58.
I am getting better in understanding how to build setups.I love it.
You see even with 70 you can learn and enjoy.:-)

I also took your setup as base for my own tune.
yours was a bit too twichy for me.
So i raised the spring and damper rate at the front a bit, set the rear toe to 0.25 or so and a bit negative front toe.
brakes i raised by one point and LSD for braking to 25

with your gearbox setting i must have done something completely wrong. as i did like you described i produced a completely useless 4th gear. So i set it to 200 auto setup and adjusted the final gear to suit the long straight.

That worked well for me and i managed a gold lap after some trys

thanks for this base setup (mine originaly was WAY to hard ;) )

Didn't work for me at all, thanks anyway for posting, might be just my style of driving.

Using Kossie's tune as a base got me under a minute with a 59.991. I just jacked the front ride height up to 94 and ran a 8-6-15 rear differential. Currently sitting at #663. Would love to finish this event in the top 1000, which I've never done for anything before. Might be possible thanks to the great tunes posted here. Unfortunately, I think I may have only another three or four tenths in my DS3 before I'm spent. Hope this time holds!

Sounds like position and style of rear wing actually affects performance? I didn't need to know about that rabbit hole... Always something or someone to chase.

Time to head to the 'Ring for the other TT. Can't listen to that 'Busa engine anymore.

The 6-6 in my tune must be 7-7. If you begin a session try to begin with a slower tune. I don't know if you use traction controll? For me helps it a lot to use traction controll 1 in the beginning and 15 downforce. After a couplke rounds i take traction 3 and downforce 20. Helps me the most. For controller players maybe a good tip.

Yeah, Kossie, I was using your swaybar settings. I know I tried the original damper settings as well as 2s all around, but I'm not sure which one that lap was turned in with. Pretty sure TC is at 3 for me. I actually did start with 15 downforce and moved to 20, but I've never considered starting a session with lower settings to get myself tuned in. Perhaps something to try tonight. Smart idea.

Definitely wouldn't be anywhere near this fast without this community discussion and this tune. If you're turning in a 58 with a DS3, consider changing your screenname to "Thumbs of God". I can't even fathom running that quick without a wheel, which I've never owned. But, it's an inspiration to keep trying. Never finished with a ranking above 10,000 for any event, but now that my twins are older and don't need attention every 5 minutes., I'm going to get a little more serious about these online events!

I appreciate that!. But I train a lot with my DS3 for TT's. I'm really not the best DS3 driver. not by far. But learning a track and training can help a lot.

Come in the open lobby (this is for everyone here) every afternoon we drive a few races at the Midfield and other tracks. Then you can see that I'm not so good. If those people(the first 2/3) would take the time that I take for a TT than they would be aliens:P

Never been in the Open Lobby! Afternoons in Europe are pretty early here on the east coast of the US. We have to get up around 7 to watch the European leg of the F1 season live. Beats 2am for Australia and Japan, though.

If anyone needs someone to bring up the rear in an online race or series, I could be your man!

@SilverSE102 @StirlingMoose @fordlaser777 @Kossie @True-blue-8 @coryclifford @GTsail290 my best time with Shelby Series 1 in that first session was 1m00.292s. A skilled pedal user could definitely get it into the 59s, too tough for me with nerfed DS3 triggers. Hope you give it a go. 👍
I have a hard time keeping that car facing the right direction, :dunce:  My best time was a 1:01.2xx with this car. I don't have the proper skill level for the throttle, I might have a bit too much of a lead foot. So far the Subaru has been the most easy and stable car for me to control, I can easily control drifts with it and I can get back on the power much sooner than the Shelby.
First time with the gsx couldn't do better than 1:2xx. Very hard to put power down and the rear has a life of is own. Didn't had time to mess with setup, so will try again once I have time
Try the Subaru tune that I linked on page 2 of this thread, it's easy to control.

As Subaru owner I had to try this one offcourse
Set-up seems okay, although I'm not sure about the high rpm turbo upgrade with the stck gear box at this short track.
1.00.337 without the rear wing
Edit 1.00.259
Awesome :D:tup:, I'm not to far behind you. I got a 1:00.328. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of Subaru do you have?

I've got a '05 blob WRX (see the avatar)
Did a little tweak on the set-up.Used the low rpm turbo and a 6500 rpm shift point.Set my current time and mounted back spoiler.Allmost a tenth slower...:banghead:
