The GSX-R/4 gave me the best time. I had a mid 2:09 going, but I jacked up the 3rd to last corner, so 2:10.6 it is. However, the ZZII is a MUCH more stable car and will easily gold this event, producing back to back to back 2.11's, so that's my recommendation to those using a DS3. The NSX-LM Road car and Miura are both too unstable for me.

I use a DS3 on Auto. TC was on 3 for this unruly GSX-R/4.

I havent tried it myself yet, but variations of the Ford GT always seem to go well in comparisons. I did try the Miura, scraped a 2.14 and ran away from it, it was fast as hell but beyond my skill set

I've done it with the gixxer and LM roadcar, gold with both. I found the GSX to be 2 seconds faster, but the LM is much more stable.

My initial time on this trial with the ZZII is currently 2:09.4 and it could maybe do up to another second I think. I haven't been back to try any other cars yet.

This one was kind of tough. Started with the NSX - R LM but not quite enough. Then tried RGT, CTR, XBOW, NSX '13, GT-R '12, IS-F , FT-1, C12S, R390 and some were close, some much slower,. Finally gold with the Miura P400. It seemed to be the only one to get into the 160s mph at end of straights and powered through the esses.

I DID try the NSX Road Car, but can't get anywhere near my GSX-times!
The car is simply too heavy and I am also not the most brilliant Driver/tuner.
Neverthless will still try to shave off some Tenths or so with it.

BTW: if referring to tunes (as also t_wilson01 did), it would be helpful to insert the link to the tune instead of the user's Name only! Would also ease the life of nowcontrol to update the OP!

Yeah, i know. But the embarrasing truth is i don't know how to link:embarrassed:
I thought with the new sticky thread it is quite easy to find. But ok, here is the tune for the NSX LM Road Car i'm using. It is by @Ed_Night and was originally made for The Tsukuba circuit. It got me into the 06'es with a 2:06.946...

Nope (L3 weight reduction, carbon hood [painted], window weight reduction, non adjustable areo kit [type A], my secret WIP suspension settings), power limiter on 75.7%) and no adjustable rear wing or flat floor.

I used my stock GT-R '07 because it was just under the PP limit (526PP in my case). Today I will try with a stock version of the Black Edition just to see how much difference it makes 👍

I found an old tune by "Mr P" for the Suzuki, and even though it gets boring to be forced to use this car in Seasonals, the tune is very fast and the car stable to handle though.
I made a 2:10,687 which makes me # 273 in this early stage of the event, but I'm sure better drivers than humble me could be a lot faster with this tune.
Here it is:

(unfortunately I don't really know the Initial Final, 6,000 is just a guess and might be wrong, but the other figures are as below):

EDIT:
He did not touch the Initial Final Gear of 5,000, then proceed like below:

Top Speed: 112 mph (=180 km/h)
4,847
3,593
2,904
2,405
2,045
1,778
Final Gear: 3,393

used this and i like it.

But you're too damn fast lol. Normal people can do 2:11 :). You'll definitely run a 2:08 or better with the GSX-R/4.

You were right, I have been on for a few hours tonight with the Suzuki and got it down to 2:07.9 and I am sure there is a few more tenths I could knock off that. 👍

Also previous to that I had run the X-BOW R for a 2:08.7 :)

Went down the less power more torque route with the C12

Managed a 2m11.099
On a better lap exited final chicane ahead of ghosts, got a bit giddy and shifted into first gear instead of third. Said a few naughty words and decided it was time for a break.

Hi guys, i hit gold (2:14:9xx) with 458. Then shifted to NSX LM with one of the above mentioned tunes. NSX did 2:12:4xx but spends too much time sideways. Im not able to get the same transmission settings as mentioned. what changes can i do to the trans'm?
I tried GSX its a mad car, i prefer NSX.

If you're using the EDNight-setup i posted, i take it you're not referring to the possible minimal (0.001) variation in gears 1 & 6, caused by wheelsize (i already had the setup when installing the +1 size wheel) -'coz naturally you shouldn't worry about that...
Might this be a "classic"?: Did you change oil before doing trans? You must.

On another note: Seeing everybody on top of the board is discarding the NSX for the Suzuki, i eventually had to come 'round and see what the "buzz" was all about. It took a while to find ways to handle the little bugger -when you've been driving the NSX for more than two weeks (incl. previous TT). But with help from yet another Ed_Night setup, i managed a nice 2:06.278 last night, using DS3, AS strong and ABS 1. This is the setup, it'll do a 2:05:

Body Rigidity Improvement, Change Oil.

this Setup (exept Ballast position and FG) is by @Ed_Night and was made for Midfield Raceway in March.
Thanks again to the DS3-champ!

EDIT: 1kg less ballast -sorry!

Thank you so much for this! I finally managed to gold this race (I know, I know...)

Here's the tune I am using on the GSXR for this event if you would like to try it out 👍 So far i'm down to a 2'06.2 but have been more than .5 ahead and lost it at spoon or 130r  Gonna try again tonight ;)
feel free to try this as it's good for a 2'05 in the right hands

Ballast 133kg

I don't want to use active steering but the car is so super light on these tyres that I had to put my wheel settings at 10 / 10 just to feel the car slightly better :) Good luck whoever tries it anyway 👍

Yesterday,I improved myself with 0.1 second using a Honda NSX.
Today i tweaked the tune i've used for the GSXR and i improved almost a second.
Just not in top 1000,currently #1094 with 2'10"568.

After spending the morning jumping at Matterhorn, I decided to give this one another try. Thanks to @Roweer1 and @Ed_Night for the tune, it helped me shave off over half a second from my previous time. I'm currently sitting in 154th place.

edit: Spoon Curve has always given me issues, I just can't get through it properly. Need a lot more practice.
