After dropping to around 15th overnight, had another quick run before lunch. Back down to 9th place @ 1'10.554. #1 in U.S. Changed ARB settings which seems to have made a world of difference.

Only when you bought the anniversary edition. A while ago, you could still buy some codes from EBAY, but I don't know if you still can.

Damn....decided to forego my afternoon plans and run this a while longer. Been up on my ghost by as much as .200 and got nervous and lost it all on that last damn corner , a corner that I have perfected and can do in my sleep. Now, I'm on a mission. Not too sure about those two top Brazilian times, especially P1, although P2 doesn't look too legit to me either....seems they have a really good lead on the field and I've never heard of them before. Really don't feel like taking the time to dissect their replays atm either.

excuse my English, I speak Portuguese.
in relation to the seasonal event where the pilot of my CRT-Daniiel team is in P1, you can rest assured the suficeiente to analyze the replay because Daniel play fair and respectful to all other virtual pilots. On the way back he is in P1 appears the use of soft sport tire because he had used this car in a multiplayer race with the compound tire and went straight to the seasonal, but the replay can see that appears hard race tire. Because of this bug in which we know has happened with several colleagues, they are saying that Daniel hacker, therefore he made the event again with your main account danielcarmo2 to show that your time is valid; on behalf of CRT team and the virtual pilot Daniel apologize for the two times in the Top10 made by the same driver. I know it has some Brazilian drivers using improper tools to take lead, I was the one who denounced these crooks here in the community; because of these reasons I left the Gran Turismo 6 and now I'm focused on Project CARS / PS4.
The CRT / Comet Racing Team and the virtual pilot Daniel are available for any clarification.

I like driving cars stock where possible and avoid overtuning cars then reducing the power, so the only tweak I had was an oil change to bring the PP up to 542, but still had a blast with this. The car feels so rewarding when you start to turn in smooth laps, feels like it has a really low centre of gravity (as it probably does for real) and after a few attempts I put in a 1:15.6xx for eight thousand and somethingth place, may come back to it just for fun as I like to dint the top 5,000, but I am happy

Ok, my sources tell me that P1 is indeed hacked so that saves me from taking the time to dissect the replay. The jury is still out on P2 however. I have made a report to Sony/PD so its up to them to take care of the rest.

And then to get a buddy or whatever to go into length as to how it`s legit. Just what is the point?

I can understand in some games how a player is not good enough and needs to prevail somehow for a big ego boost and deprive/piss off legit players, happens and bans happen too.

I can only think they try the cheat out before the acadamy to see if they get away with it or something. Not nice, thinking of too many expletives atm better stop typing.

i did my own quick tune while putting in some laps to get used to the track (hate it) and managed to pull off a 1:15.840. Good for about 12 millionth place, but I don't care because I got the gold and the paint chip. That's all I was after.

On my first go I managed a 1:15.5 and at that point none of my friends list had done the event.

Went back last night to see one pal had managed a 1:15.7 so I felt the need for another blast. I got 1:13.5 for around 1500th place

I'm so happy! Never expected to take 2 whole juicy seconds off my first time. (used my own tune btw)

Kinda feeling this one......been running two setups on this, had a dabble and retuned the motor earlier and ran a 1:10.498 currently uk no1 and my mate Berz One no2.....can see atleast another couple 100th of a sec taken off if I persist. But the last corner seems to get me everytime

I get my gold and move on always...In the case of this particular event, it took 1 lap. I don't know why, but I don't care for Big Willow that much either, which doesn't do anything positive for my motivation, or lack thereof.

EDIT: DO NOT add the chassis reinforcement as it totally ruins the cars handling.

I managed to slither the snake around in 1:12.905 for 842 at the moment. I doubt I can make it slither any quicker. I certainly won't find 3 seconds. In an hour or so I'll well outside of the top 1000, dropped about 80 places in the FF @ Ascari in 4 hours or so...

Good work. Is there any difference between the normal car and the anniversary edition other than the paint job and a tune? I notice most of the top 10 are using the anniversary edition. Maybe just because it's free.
