One things for sure, with Hotsaucer's tune, the car's handling improved for sure.

After some more patient tries, improved to 7:35:972 to go 552nd!

I may be able to improve a second more as I had lost about a second in the start of the TT to my previous best time of 7:41:387.

Done for the day. Managed to shed some more time to 7:33:566 for 435th ranking!

Well, I have no patience for this tt. I dont have it.... In the last week i gonna go for a great time. This take to much time... I think the last week i need 10 (fast) laps to have 1 legal time.

Thanks for sharing your setup 👍
The car feels pretty stable but how do you keep the car from spinning out when accelerating in the lower gears. Are those the correct LSD numbers?

Also, I noticed the car has 716pp in this setup?

Reduce HP and add weight for 630PP

Wow. Finally, finally got Silver. Amen. Hallelujah and praise the Lord.
Finally got around to trying Hotsaucy's 2J Chaparral tune and that did it. Time of 8:33.600. Not as fast as you pros but still happy like pappy for it thanking God for small mercies. 3.something seconds more for gold.

Gonna have to take a break now and try again tomorrow because it was quite nerve-wracking to say the least.
Was a zippy little car for the time trial and had to be little careful along the way so as not to get over-excited and fly off the road. In the end deciding to go with Active Steering on Strong.

Mind you, didn't get silver in one go eh. Took a few restarts after some laps got nullified because of you know what. Still, very happy to get past bronze and move up to silver. Happy camper. Live to fight another day.

Just keep trying, you'll knock out that 3 secs in no time, a corner here or a corner there and once you get to know the track real good you won't have any problems with it.

It's like a light bulb going off in your head "Oh I Get it Now!!!"

That's when it gets fun. Happy Driving!!!

Maybe not as painful for those who use a steering wheel to drive around!

I'm sure it feels more real with the wheel than the DS3. The reflexes with the wheel are more smooth & time saving whereas with the DS3 it feels more rough, abrupt & time consuming.
yea I'm seriously concidering a ts80 as a starter wheel.

edit: thrustmaster T80.... stupid autocorrect...

Not sure about that wheel, but once you get the hang of it you'll never want to go back to the controller. Also if you get a wheel with decent force feedback, you will want to look into a wheel stand or rig.

I am with you on this one it is way far to long, it looks like I will roll the 2J back in the garage now.
I don't mind this track, I like driving the Nurburgring :mischievous:. It could be worse, it could've been a redbull or tomahawk lap of this track. :scared:  Before I try the TS030, I'm going to try it with the HSV base model first.

I did not mine driving in the rain at the A-spec expert event and that was good, this one gets me so nervous and :scared:.

Agreed! I think to race on this track is fantastic. For me, probably the best in GT. The variety of corners, bends, elevations etc etc....even length....provides a great challenge and is lot of fun. But as a track for TTs, its pretty tough....

Would strongly advice against getting a cheap wheel. A much better bet is to save up a little more and invest in a superior wheel such as the Logitech G29. Plus it would have the added benefit of being compatible not only with the PS3 but also the PS4. While thinking present, also think ahead. Money better spent.

Still no 2J tunes in sight :grumpy:, so I made my own. It's a rough setup for sure, I put maybe an hour into this.. not nearly as much love as my Monaco setup :D. A highly skilled pilot can get this into the 7:10's no doubt. @GT_Rajman

Update #1: I made some changes to make it faster but also keeping the balance. Also added gearing.

I also recomended G29,i play many years with G27 it is very good product.G29 little bit better facelift with that.I choose T500rs because it is easyer to modifield to my special parts.
