7 to 77 "From Children to adults anyone can participate"

GT is the only game with SRF
So it would make sense then have a small amount of concern about whether PD might allow a rewind feature to be used in a TT if, in the past, they have allowed driver aids into their official TT's which override the programmed physics limits of the game.

I don't really see the big issue with rewind. It's not like it makes the drivng any easier. Just reverses mistakes. Maybe if it was limited to a few per race or maybe have time added on for each rewind.

Or if they make it function like any other game, where it invalidates the lap it's used on.

This entire thread is based on nothing more than guess work.

As it's been said before, simply marketing speak.
Nothing more, nothing less.
And trying to interpolate anything from it is beyond reasoning.

7 to 77 maybe could have something to do with the age eligiblity for the FIA events, otherwise it's a nod to GT7.

I don't see an issue with it being in the game either, I think it would make the game more accessible to casual players. The worry that @sk8er913 has, is that it will be allowed on official leaderboards which is a legitimate concern given PD's history with SRF. Even then, if the leaderboards are sortable so you can filter out for different driver aids and such, I don't think it's a big problem. The key is, as always, give players the option to play and compete in their own way - everyone wins! IMO, the game could really use a standard "PRO" setting for all leaderboards and TT's. A fixed set of settings that everyone knows in advance for example, ABS and Traction control on a "factory" setting. SRF and stability controls off etc.

Relating to this somewhat I hope with this game they finally understand that advanced/seasoned players don't want to be forced to do the super easy stuff at the start of the game.

It's always been the GT way that you start up with 'beginner' events and licenses, the descriptions of the events even say that they're perfect for beginners with very moderate difficulty but they still force the seasoned players to do them. Same with licenses, many of us have earned the basic licenses over and over again, we don't want to be forced to complete the basic 'accelerate/brake test' or the 'let's learn how to take a corner' test.

I don't know, maybe they can read GT6 data on the servers to see which PSNs have completed the previous two games, anything but forcing the first two hours of the game to be slow, unchallenging, basic races and tests.

The fact they actually recognise there are beginners AND advanced players playing gives some hope.

The OP left the discussion wide open, no need to try and shout everyone down. We all realize there are no definitive answers so we aren't "beyond reasoning", we're just spitballing.

There's the precedent of GT4 being able to transfer GT3 data, giving you 100,000 Cr. and a free pass on the B and A licences. Likewise GT2 with GT1, although that came without a credit bonus.

But since license completion is still tied to save data there they'd probably have to do it through something like PS Plus' cloud storage.

Like how quick match works?

Realisticly, it is just a slogan trying to be catchy.

Imaginary, PD are being a bit of 🤬 aren't they, 7 to 77 YET the game is still rated PEGI 3!?!

This is discrimination against people younger than 7 and older than 77.

There's no reason that I, a legitimate 78 year old, shouldn't be allowed to play GT.

I remember the Kaz mentioned he wanted to do something like a GT for boys, hence the GT PSP. Maybe they're going on that flow again to make this one more casual just like the GT PSP. It's a good move, trying to get more people on board and quite possibly about changing the current image of the GT franchise i.e. specialized, serious, prefessional, technical, boring (yea, people told me they felt that way about GT), etc. Even for me, at first when I was small, GT seemed too serious. I knew I always liked it but I never had the courage and skills to actually enjoy it, so I stuck with what was easy at that time i.e. NFS. As soon as actually put the effort into GT however, everything changed, and I'm all about GT now! So I'm guessing the 7 to 77 tagline is to try to change the perceptions people have about GT. It's for the best I think! Besides, it's not Gran Turismo 7, so it makes sense to go a different direction. I'm still wondering about the number choice though! 7 to 77... Is that really a coincidence? :P

Can somebody please explain how it's gonna work . I don't get " represent your manufacture " or " 7 to 77 people can participate " does that mean only 77 can get the game ?

Bit of a noob question I know but I really do not understand .

Well, if underage (less than 18 y/o) kids play all kinds of violent games (CoD is a typical example) then I'm sure its no problem that 7 years old or maybe a bit less can play a driving game. Actually I remember my little cousing played GT series since he was probably 5-6 or so
