1:24 and 1:25?!

You guys are truly amazing.
Try to work with the handbrake in the first chicance, this gives you a way better exit.
For me it works best being less aggressive, because the 2J bites back very hard. Mantain a decent speed throughout all chicanes, an go early on the throttle, but only 50%-60%.

It's difficult to explain how to get faster, but I hope this helps.

PS: Replays ca be accessed again, wohooo!

1:27.469 for 359th position.
Seeing @GTP_CargoRatt encouraging so many people to stick at it & try to go a bit faster at all levels made me think it was worth a try. Then I saw that somebody on my PSN list seemed (faux) annoyed elsewhere on this site that I was ahead of him which may have sparked a rivalry.
I know I can go under 1:27 if I put all the sectors together, I wonder this could turn out be a top 500 finish? Something I never would have expected a few weeks ago.

Edit: 1:27.221 for 290th.

Thought i would give the 2J a bash, seen as i was and am slow,i smashed a couple seconds of my old time, yep a ultra fast 1:28.1xx,could get into 27's, but with a newborn in the house there is no time,so this will do me....also i will say sorry to my FR List for the lack luster effort i am putting in,its quite nice being in the lower end of the L.B. to you all................
Haa haa sorry to hear you can't put much time into the game at present, extremely happy for you and Lisa with the new addition to the family :)
Enjoying being close to the top of my leaderboard for a short time whilst you are tending to the wee Bairn and mumsy  Won't be long and I'll be chasing the Tiger as per usual :ouch:

I haven't had much time on this as yet and have yet to try raj,s tune with the 2J. Looking at stewies and Halls times though I should be able to get close to them (maybe :nervous:) Great effort though Gents

Great job my friend. I'm pulling for you and know that future improvement is right around the next corner for you. 👍 Keep positive and keep telling yourself you can do it and improvement will surely follow. 👍

Its great to see you guys pushing yourselves to new limits and accomplishing/surpassing your goals. Patience, dedication, and a positive mindset are all keys here. If you want it bad enough, you can do anything. You have to really want it though because if you don't and are just trying to improve for the sake of improving, you will never reach your full potential. So, go out there and do that damn thing!!!!!

I thhink the Braveheart speech might have just been dethroned as the most inspirational speech I've heard now. :P

Just trying to help others in any way I can. 👍 Plus, it is just so cool to see you guys improve and reach new heights that you never thought reachable before. You just got to B-E-L-I-E-V-E.
believe.gif

Naah, just kidding. To be honest it's a thing of great importance to believe in your self. I mean after I had eventually beaten my time by over a second even though I was thinking when I made previous record that it was absolute best I can do, have had huge effect to my confidence, and I won't back down so easily, even tough it feels impossible. I mean it feels rather insane sometimes to chase something that doesn't even seem to be there, but IF I manage to get there somehow, it's just best feelings that life can offer. Now I should go driving instead of just talking  bit down on a flu tough, makes my hands hurt in a weird way :odd:

And also these current TT's are driving me towards disbelieve, I mean oh man that LFA is a tough cookie :nervous:

1. LoL! You know this slogan"The real driving simulator", in real life on a track, the cerbs have big influence on a lap time but here-Not!
2. So it's forbidden to say that the track limitations are stupid?
2. LoL
You make no sense. At one point you complain about the kerbs being slippery, but here you say they don't affect lap times? What?

"So, it is forbidden to say track limits are stupid?" - how does what stiggy said: "everyone has the same track limits"...how did it beg that response in quotations? He didn't say anything regarding you not being able to say that stuff on here. I haven't spent any time on that TT yet, but FYI, that turn your speaking of has a massively generous limit. You can put the two outside wheels onto the run off and as long as you keep the inners on the kerb, it doesn't cancel out the lap. It didn't for me during the few laps I did until I realized the 908 wouldn't cut it. If the kerbs are slippery, idk how you feel they don't affect lap times when you're not running as wide to avoid them at some points. Like the outers at lespos. But you want to use the outer coming out of variente ascari. IMO, that affects lap time...right? If you hit or don't hit certain kerbs that you should or shouldn't...your time is affected. If I miss the outer kerb coming out of VA, I'm probably going to lose at least a tenth, because the wider I swing there without back out of the throttle, the more speed I'm carrying towards the parabolica.

Thinking the kerbs should have the same traction as pavement is odd, too. They're painted concrete in most cases. You can't use outer kerbs on exits to swing wide so as not to back off the throttle unless you're screwing along and downforce is very effective in that moment. Trying to accelerate off them is not happening at just about any speed, unless you're carrying a ton of momentum at it. Inner kerbs are a no-no at a track like this. They'll bounce you towards the outside. It just sound like you need to learn to use kerbs when you should and when you shouldn't. No one is hammering on the outside kerb coming out of turn 2. Massive loss in traction. Just light them up on the pavement like we all did with the lotus at spa coming at the start line and exiting turn one. Tire wear is off, so screw it if you're facing an open straight in a car with a lot of rear downforce.

Does anyone have a tune for the Audi R10 Stealth Race Car? I can't get the last .400 secs off at present with the TCS on 0 and ASM off (I think). It twitches a little out of the corners I think I'm being a bit too heavy on the accelerator - or I need to adjust the Aero a little more?

Diff currently at 8/20/8. Top speed set at 205. May need to repair engine as it seems to have lost some power since I started this TT :banghead:

Can't thank you enough man, this tune saved my life! Tried for 2 hours with the Escudo Pikes Peak last night and just couldn't seem to break anything past 1:36.5. Got a 1:33.2 on my first lap with this car/tune.

Cheers! ^_^

Thanks @GT_Rajman , I shaved a full half second off my time using most of your tune and broke the 1:26 barrier. 1:26.910. I'm still trying for another full second for the top 100 though.

Tried the @GT_Rajman tune today.
1:26.703 for 218th.
For me this is nosebleed territory.
By my count that's 12th for d-pad users & in the time I spent working that out I could have probably shaved off another few tenths.
I messed up a bit in the Parabolica so I'll be back yet again, maybe tomorrow...

Thanks for sharing, great tune 👍 👍 👍

Actually, I kept the stock spring rate and made some little changes for the rest:

Suspension
Ride height: 65/65
Spring rate: STOCK
Dampers (Comp): 6/8
Dampers (Ext): 8/7
Anti-roll bars: 3/4
Camber: 0,0/0,0
Toe: -0,15/0,15
Brakes: 6/7

LSD
Initial torque: 11
Accelerartion sensitivity: 14
Brake sensitivity: 6

Power
Buy the High RPM Turbo and use the power limiter to 88,9% (with changed oil)

Transmission
Just put the top speed to 390 km/h (400 km/h if you believe it's reaching the "red' RPMs too early)

I didn't put ballast on the car. Your 2J must be 821 kg when you buy it.

Notes/Tips: The car is a little unstable when you exit the corners. Try to avoid understeer at the Lesmos and Ascari chicane by changing from 1st to 2nd gear quickly. To get a good entry at the Parabolica use handbraking before turning (don't overdo it!), keep a middle line and change to 2nd gear at 170-180 km/h.
There you go! Good luck ;)👍 :gtpflag:

I achieved a time 1:26.006 with this tune (using a wheel).

This tune gave me a time 1:25.779 and currently the 88th position in the ranking. Many thanks for a great tune @GT_Rajman!

And 1:23...that's not from this world mate (read "alien").

EDIT:
Yes! A small improvement to 1:25.464. Now it's going to be very exciting, if this time is enough to keep me in top 100, which would be my personal "record". (I'm currently at the 70th position).

EDIT2:
1:25.278. And currently the 67th at the ranking. Absolutely my best ranking ever!

Great lap mate!! I think I can somehow see how really high .24 is possible but just like always, those top guys are just so fast it goes beyond comprehension, I mean closest I have gotten to leader was in that WRS TT on madrid, I was only something like .800 behind BUT THAT CIRCUIT HAS LIKE 5 CORNERS it's just truly amazing how they do it...

GT rajmans tune, my 2J is nervous under hard breaking, hard to keep the ideal line for a corner, and with this tune I'm slower then my personal best time (ds3)

I put a couple of hours into this tonight with Raj's 2J tune and dropped into the top 240 1:26.722. Didn't quite get the time that I thought I would (1:26.300) but i am leaving a lot out there. I am happy with this for now :)

Thanks for the tune @GT_Rajman
